Went there for a casual meal and did not except the service and quality to be so good! Honestly the food was amazing and being Bengali myself I could totally taste and see how they have actually put traditional taste and texture into the food. A lot of places compromise but this place certainly doesn't. It is quite a small venue and would love if it had a little refurb done to modernise it a bit more. But other than that top marks for this place. All the other customers seemed to love their food too and they cooked our meal exactly how we wanted it !
Best indian in the area. Always tasty food and the staff always polite and friendly. We always have mango lassi to drink if it's available. Priced well & highly recommended.

Best curry for miles .... We've had a few orders from Bengal Cottage now and these are by far the best in the area... Full of flavour.... Everything tastes fresh.... A good takeway is a rare treat these days 10/10
Absolutely brilliant curry house, just found it as was working locally and looking for a takeaway on google. Food was fantastic, the tarka daal is so good and lamb chops are tremendous... and amazing value. Staff very friendly and super helpful. Can’t imagine finding better in the area

Popped in here with a couple of friends for some late night food. The staff were very accommodating as it was nearly closing time but stated it wasn't a problem. We shared a vegetarian platter and added some daal and nan as we didn't need a full meal. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Would recommend.

Got a recommendation from a really interesting taxi driver from triple zero and he said he only every got a pathia or karahi. I used to have both years ago but Iv turned into a spice heat softie. I rang up and the manager was super lovely and helpful. He suggested doing a pathia with less heat. Dead friendly delivery chap and the curry was gooood, Il defo be going spicier next time though. Good onions bhajis, poppadoms, tikka paneer, Nan bread

Love it!! Great tasty food all freshly made to order and excellent menu choice. The staff are great to, really friendly and attentive and always on hand to help you complete your menu choice with excellent knowledge of the menu. You dont feel rushed at all, well worth a visit to this cosy little gem.
Bengal cottage, although we have never eaten in the restaurant we have had many takeaways, the food is fabulous but on occasions the food can be a very long wait, i have had to ring up several times to ask where the food is, and when the food finally arrives the order has been wrong on several occasions, but if you don't mind a wait and trying something you haven't ordered then give bengal cottage a try.
