Our weekend getaway at this hotel under new management was an absolute delight.
The décor in the bar and lounge area is tastefully done, creating a welcoming and stylish ambiance that set the stage for memorable moments with friends. The comfortable seating, soft lighting, and carefully chosen accents added to the overall charm. It's the kind of environment that makes you want to linger and savor the moment.
The food was good, their menu offered a variety of options, and each dish was a burst of flavour. I had the pleasure of trying the Saturday dinner and Sunday roast, and both were a true highlight.
Also, the transformation of the wine cellar into a spa is a stroke of genius. The spa exudes a sense of tranquillity and relaxation. I indulged in a deep tissue massage, and it was a truly rejuvenating experience. The therapist's skill and the serene ambiance of the spa created the perfect environment for relaxation and self-care.
We will definitely be returning for more unforgettable gatherings at this remarkable hotel.
Second time staying at this hotel. Beautiful building, great welcome and wonderful food. Generally what more could you want! Give this place a visit and decide for yourself, personally I love it and will make it a regular business stay when I’m the area.
Had a one night stay here and a meal ,one of the best hotels I ever stayed in, food was top class hotel has been newly refurbished so clean and tidy service was top notch with the owner Hubert going the extra mile with his personal touch.cant fault this hotel in anyway. Would highly recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed 5 stars no problem.
I believe I have found a hidden treasure in this hotel. I arrived late and Ramon (apologises if I have spelt this incorrectly) was nothing short of exceptional. He couldn’t do enough to help me and make me feel welcome.
I felt instantly at home in my beautiful room.
I am writing this review an hour and an half after check-in, because I am that impressed with the overall experience.
We stayed here as a large family group after a funeral. The most attentive, lovely kind staff who worked so hard to make our stay great. Wishing you all a successful business going forward.
Just dropped in to see the menu. Staff very welcoming and have now booked a meal for later in October. The refurbishment of the hotel and restaurant is superb. Must recommend the place.
So enjoying having somewhere in the village to eat. Delicious food, nicely presented. Love eating informally in their new bar room. Restaurant looks lovely with a really good range of dishes. Could go just for morning coffee in the lounges though. Illy coffee, our favourite - decaf and oat milk too! Opens at 11am currently.

On arrival I was offered a variety of drinks while I waited for my treatment room to be nice and warm then settled in for a lovely treatment.
Everyone friendly and welcoming.
I recommend this hotel 100%, for a business that has just started only 4 weeks ago ....this place can only get better, which I cannot wait to return and findout, at the moment the food is fantastic, the rooms are fabulous and the staff are out of this world, so helpful, I'm in and out hotels all the time some good some poor, but ever so often a golden one turns up,
In the 40+ years of me being on the road ...its about 5 or 6 golden places ...this is one, well done guys at the French Partridge 👏 I'm sure more to come from this hotel, spa and Restaurant
Fantastic venue, very welcoming reception from Ramond, Hubert, John and Mr Mamud the owner.Delicious bar food and booked in for Sunday lunch. Had massage with John who is truely amazing. Will definately be back. Highly recommend it we loved it. 😁The Birds!
Went for a meal in the restaurant rather than actually staying at the hotel and were able to walk there as it is local to us. Staff very friendly and welcoming, excellent food and good value for money.
Visited for a meal last week, service was good, the food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. Will definitely visit again.

Newly reopened a great bar menu and lovely staff
Such a lovely place to stay, quiet and out of the way of the big city and a very relaxed environment. Staff were very friendly and so helpful and caring about the little details. The breakfast was exceptional and such good value for what you pay.
Only thing they need to do is make a few business cards so people can spread the good word of this place.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and staff. Stayed in an elegant and tastefully furnished room. Very comfortable.
Had two meals during my stay which were both delicious especially the sea bass.
