We were very impressed with this pub. The manager was very accommodating and found seating for us, even though we were 1.5 hrs early for our booking. Myself and wife had a meal here on a busy Saturday night. The food was absolutely fantastic!! Not the cheapest but you really do get what you pay for. But what really made the night was the service. Extremely attentive and a credit to the restaurant.

Wonderful staff..food very good..there fish delicious, but chips let them down ,this time, very soft, they needed a little extra cooking time. As I was with a 91 year for his birthday treat , I didnot mention to staff.i would have done normally...Been with family many times ...never had a problem

Arrived 1030 looking forward to breakfast. They stop at 10am but they made an exception for me. The meal was fabulous and the banter with the staff was good humoured. Very happy customer.

Had a family birthday meal. Got parked easily, lovely warm place, staff polite and efficient. Lovely meal and yes I would go back. Google want me to rate it as a hotel, as I only live a little way away I have no idea.

Fabulous food at a great price. Unfortunately the waitresses were really vocal in the bar. As well as three woman in the next room were quite noisy, they were well oiled, hope they weren't driving. Dinner served but no courtesy check, thank goodness the food was superb.
