Quality of the pizza was great - fresh, handmade and gold balance of ingredients.
Friendly service with plenty of assistance when needed and good variety on the menu.

Amazing pizza with an amazing lunch deal where you can get a massive pizza and a beer for £13.50! The interior is beautiful and the pizza are made fresh from the oven! I personally really like the honey pepperoni - the sweet and savoury combination is delicious! The pizza dough is also super soft and chewy!

One of the best places for pizza I’ve been to (and I have visited Italy several times now). Pizza is incredible and there are vegetarian and vegan options. The service was really good and for desert I had the Biscoff brownie with vegan hazelnut icecream which was also amazing. Will be back soon to try the pastas and salads and the other ice cream flavours 😀
Nice little pizza place. Pizzas are tasty and the size is generous. We ordered the Nduja and Prosciutto Cotto. Both lovely.
The pizzas were very tasty and perfectly cooked. The hibiscus cocktail was nice, crisp and fruity. And the biscoff brownie was ver nice pairs with pistachio ice cream! Staff were all attentive and polite.
Very enjoyable lunch with my son during which we polished off two pizzas. I went for the Capricciosa which was generously topped and full of flavour. The boy had an American with extra ham which he struggled to finish. Full of flavour but free of the grease and oil that can be so present at similar priced chain restaurants. Friendly, welcoming staff and reasonable prices.
Meeting up with some old friends for the first time in a year, a recommendation from a mate we bumped into that night led us here!
Seating upstairs was full, so we were sat downstairs - which was great! The waiter was friendly, and although he said the service might be a bit slow as they had less staff than usual, it wasn't at all. Good service, great food.
The choice of music was great too. Unfortunately the stereo mix suffered due to one of the speakers not working, which was amusing.
Regardless, a great place to have a meal with friends. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely staff, good buzz but slightly let down by the actual pizzas. The base and crust are fantastic but I always find they overload the toppings and they end up quite soupy. The Margherita is nice enough but has about twice the amount of cheese on it it needs. Personally prefer Franco Mancas pizzas if you are looking for a close comparison.

We held our Corporate event at Monte Forte and were fortunate enough to have the entire restaurant to ourselves. The restaurant is beautifully laid out, with good air con during the warm summer days, an open kitchen space and the most funky basement with an upstairs and downstairs bar. Ellie B was the Manager on duty and bent over backwards to accommodate all our needs. She was friendly and unbelievably flexible in accommodating our requests. Ellie gave up a lot of her time in advance of our special event, to ensure every detail was covered and was pro-active and resourceful in accommodating such a large group of 62. On the day, all the staff that worked (Ellie B) , Ellie T, Jack and Neve, and the kitchen team, Nathan and Malachi, worked incredibly hard from start to finish and were professional and on the ball. Nothing was too much trouble, and Ellie, the Manager, was in constant communication with me throughout the evening to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night. The Pizzas were very authentic and a taste sensation. All the guests commented on how they were some of the best pizzas they have had in a restaurant! Our only feedback for improvement is it would have been great to have had some lagers available, other than the local bottle ales / brews, but I know that Monte Forte had some supply issues, and did their best to remedy that where they could. Overall, we highly recommend Monte Forte for their 5* Service, amazing team, quality of the food, ambience, and also, we felt that they were really good value option for a corporate event, with no hire fee and just a minimum spend. We would not hesitate to return for a corporate event, or with family and friends for lunch or dinner. It is a very special place with a local feel.
