Spent a wonderful sunny afternoon at Mannings Heath Estate for the cheese and wine paring experience with friends. We tasted 5 different wines first then added the matched cheese to enhance the flavours. Overall really impressed with the level of service and knowledge from Jo. Then we sat out on the terrace with more wine 🍷 My personal favourite was the Pinot Noir and will have to come back to purchase another bottle.

What an amazing weekend we've just had at Mannings Heath Golf and Wine Estate to celebrate my Dad's 85th Birthday. From the initial booking with Jo she made us feel so welcome and nothing felt like too much trouble, the whole process running up to the event was easy and every request was dealt with quickly and efficiently. On the day we were greeted by Tracey and the team who again made us feel so welcome, the whole function ran like clockwork and the team were attentive and serving us with a smile. As for the food, well, what can I say, absolutely gorgeous, my husband and kids all said "the best soup ever" for their starter, my dad absolutely loved his cod main course and my beef main was so tasty too. They even accommodated my teenage boys request for chips which were really delicious and we all had yummy puddings and felt completely full. We stayed in the holiday cottage (Fullers Cottage) for the night which is located just a short distance from the main club house. The cottage is gorgeous and perfect for an overnight stay, it's beautifully furnished with really comfortable beds, warm and really cosy, they even have extra blankets which my dad loved as being old he does get cold. Lovely touches like having a Novus tea selection box and a bottle of their wine in the fridge was lovely for us to enjoy too. It was only a shame it's winter as I can imagine on a summers evening the private garden would be lovely. The team even delivered a selection of sandwiches and cakes to the cottage for us in the evening which was a lovely touch. Breakfast the following morning again was gorgeous, the food still to the same high standard as the day before and again the team made us feel welcome and well looked after. I cannot recommend this venue enough for anyone considering having their event here, absolutely 5 star, thank you so much Mannings Heath!!

I really loved everything about Mannings Heath, the bright pink club house sets the scene as soon as you arrive. Its a classic club house set perfectly amongst the undulating courses. Conditions were pretty good given the time of the year, the fairways were quite muddy but acceptable and the greens were great. There are so many great holes, the par three 10th aptly named waterfall lives up to its name, playing down the hill with the waterfall cascading alongside it. Its a classic example of a course that on paper (gps) looks very easy until you arrive and see how much the landscape effects each hole. A few of the par 4s force shot shaping off the tee if you really want to take out the yardage which I loved about the course, the risk reward is high. There pro shop was under renovation at the time of my visit and I was assured that their own wine from the onsite vineyard would be viable to buy by June, a great reason to go back, that and the fact its a brilliant track.

Where to start?! We had our wedding reception at Manning's Heath Estate this October (2023). From day one, Jo, the events manager, was a breath of fresh air! We contacted so many venues who gave us the same automated spiel and made us feel like a cog in the wedding machine. Jo was the opposite. Giving us a personalised service from the off, making us feel like we were the only ones having our wedding reception there (which is far from the truth) and being genuinely excited for us and our day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the day and experience really was centred around me and my husband and what we wanted from the day. I felt immediately like we could put all of our trust into Jo and the team and that the day would run smoothly (which I am happy to report it did). I never felt like we were being used to make money or ripped off, which unfortunately is the experience we had with so many places and is one of the many things that really stood out to me about Mannings Heath. Jo was easily contactable and really responsive. After our first meeting with Jo and seeing the venue we knew it was the place for us and we have absolutely no regrets about choosing it. The venue itself is beautiful, the wine lodge in particular is a stunning room that was absolutely perfect for our drinks reception. The upstairs room where we ate and had our DJ is also lovely and full of character. You don't need anything to make it feel special (the lights wrapped around the beams and the stained glass windows are already perfect). We had around 75 people in the room - it felt exactly the right size. If you had a smaller party the room was also sectionable. We have had so many compliments on the food and wine. Kellie, Executive Chef, went above and beyond to cater for a variety of allergies and intolerances - as well as for my mum who has particularly complex needs when it comes to food (so thank you so much Kellie). Harry looked after us in the evening, running the show like a star. The rest of the staff on the day were such genuinely nice and happy people. Again, we had a lot of comments on how nice the staff were. It was a pleasure to have our wedding reception here and everything we wanted. Thank you so much Manning's Heath team. We will always have a special place in our heart for for Manning's Heath Estate and will definitely be back. Rowena & Alex

Lovely, but quite a challenging course which is hilly and has water that comes in to play. Mostly all brooks. Worth a visit, but quite pricy for what it is. I was glad we got it cheaper via PlayMore Golf. I think the price went up after the day we played. Didn't eat, but clubhouse was nice enough for a drink.

My wife took me for a wine tasting as a surprise. What a wonderful afternoon it was. Fantastic service from when we walked in. The whole story of the wines and where they come from and how they produce them was told. We then got a cheese board and explained how the cheeses and wine compliment each other. They then left us alone to enjoy the wine which was nice as we could talk about it with each other. The setting is amazing with views of the golf course. After we had done the wine and cheese Ben took us around and showed us the grounds and where they are now growing the grapes. Ben was an excellent guid.

Fabulous location, friendly staff and open to locals, even if you don't play golf. Go grab a coffee test some of their wines or try out the new restaurant. All recently refurbished to a high standard.

Was there for the fireworks display, so can't really comment on the golf side of things, but the parts I did see were impressive. Fantastic fireworks.

Great track, hilly in places but a good challenge for all. Required some thinking in places rather than just booming one down the fairway. Friendly staff in the Pro Shop and a great Eighteenth especially when it's sunny!

Enjoyed playing the 9 hole Kingfisher golf course with my 17 year grandson. The course was in great condition especially the greens. Can't believe he beat me though!
