What a pleasant surprise! Friendly staff, tasty cake and tea and very enjoyable new atmosphere. Well done for bringing this place back to life.
The coffee here is lovely as are the staff.
Food is lovely, the portions for the money paid are fantastic.
Great location in the heart of the town, surrounded by everything else.
Milkshakes are also a must try (Chocolate Mint is my favourite!).
Good selection of independent label food products and drinks - please keep supporting them.

New and much improved. The decor the atmosphere and the whole vibe is much better than the sorry excuse that this place sadly became.
I hope the new improved cafe goes from strength to strength.
Not the cheapest coffee but it’s now a nice place to be again!
Must improved refit having worked her last summer it's so nice now looking and feeling like a coffee shop. Staff seem to still be getting used to the place but from what it was it's much improved ❤️
Apparently under new management, went to check it out today and will definitely be going back in the future.

I visited again today (June 2023) and sat outside in the sun.
Good, and large, coffee and probably the best Danish pastry I've ever eaten.
Afterwards I thanked the chap.
Seems they bake their own cakes as he said that my Danish had only been out of the oven for 10 minutes when I ordered it.
I'll be back for another sometime.
Nice staff, decent coffee and a great location to sit at in the sun. The full English breakfast was also high quality and delicious. Worth the ~£10 price.
Had a very nice vegan breakfast and coffee in pleasant surrounds, staff were friendly and it was great to have a range of vegan options on the menu and milk alternatives rather than just a token effort.

Amazing every time I've been there. The coffee is amazing and I'd recommend a gingerbread latte. One of the few places that does it all year round. The staff are friendly, quick and they have a great outside area for smokers. Music is always playing and it's a great place to chill and people watch. I'd also go for the sausage roll it's great cold or heated up. They even offer blue light discount!
Such a lovely cafe!! Stopped here on a bike ride and glad I missed the Costas/Nero's etc, lovely outside space, great covid hygiene in place and lots of choice of snacks, drinks etc. Very friendly staff too :-)
