Went here today and served by Sherralee. Great service, very attentive and friendly. Food was good.
The lack of staff seem to be holding them back. The waiting staff were running around doing their best with a smile on their face. There should’ve been an extra (at least 1) member of waiting staff and maybe one in the kitchen. I can’t comment on the kitchen as the food came quickly.
For a place like pizza express they should have a dedicated front of house taking people to their tables and welcoming people. I don’t know if they had one, if they did they were waiting on tables so the blame needs to come from above.
They could’ve had that restaurant packed out if they had enough staff.
One of my colleagues looked to go in last weekend but walked away due to lots of tables being left unclean after the previous customers had been in. Not for the fault of the waiting staff.
Get more staff during busy periods and you’ll pack the whole place out

We had great service and food was good, unfortunately, due to some out of control children (No fault of the restaurant) the beginning of the evening was chaos.
After they left, it was a good night, with a nice atmosphere. The waitress was outstanding. So friendly and helpful and helped in celebrating 1 of our parties birthday. A big thank you for a nice end to the evening.
We will certainly return.
Always a delightful restaurant to visit. Food is consistently good, service is excellent and you're guaranteed a warm welcome. Not all Pizza Expresses are the same - this is certainly one of the better ones.
On the most recent visit to the Horsham branch, we were served by Sherralee and she was excellent. Energetic, helpful, friendly and very efficient. I have been to this Pizza Express branch several times and always found the service a slow and lacking in anything special - Sherralee however was anything but that. She is a great asset to the team!
We had a fantastic pizza making party today. The children loved it and the food and the pizzas they made were amazing! A huge thank you to Sherralee who managed the whole event. She was so friendly, efficient and wonderful with the children. Excellent work, thank you!
I had an excellent dinner tonight with my family at Pizza Express, and I must give credit to Katie, our fantastic server. She warmly welcomed us and provided attentive service throughout our meal. Simply could not ask for more. Lots of veggie and vegan options, I chose the fiorentina. Unfortunately, it was a bit too overdone for my liking. Still would recommend for the service alone.
We were sat across two tables so my son could sit with his friends for his 11th birthday party. We were served by Christina who was brilliant with my son and his friends. Service was excellent, food was delicious, and all well priced. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant too.
Lovely evening - celebrating my parents anniversary with my children. From the start the service was superb Sherralee our server was attentive, interacting with the kids and very friendly. The food was great and the whole team seem to have a lovely buzz which comes across in the atmosphere. Would recommend. Thank you Sherralee and the team.
PE is not usually my first choice of pizza restaurant but Mum wanted to go here and I'm glad we did. Standard PE fare (tasty though!) in a packed, noisy restaurant. Seemed very understaffed but our waitress, Sheralee, made us feel like we were the most important people in there. She was fun, cheery and extremely efficient. She should be running the place. I'd definitely go back 😄!

We’re fairly regular at this restaurant and we’ve never had a bad experience. The food, management and staff are always great.
My partner, myself and our one year old little madam were especially impressed this evening after a brief stop for an early meal.
I don’t expect this level of service when they’re busier but credit where credit is due….. I asked politely if parts of the meal that doesn’t take long to cook could come out as soon as it’s done due to the little one being hungry and the waitress Sherralee didn’t hesitate to consult the chefs and they were more the happy to accommodate this immediately.
Sherralee was happy, professional, and provided the perfect service to compliment this highly recommended establishment. She and all the other staff on duty this evening were a delight, fantastic with our little one and the food was great and came out in good time.
Guys I’m sorry we didn’t tip this evening we had a confusion over cash but we’ll tip double next time we see you all on shift.
We love to come here as a family for a treat with the kids. What makes it a great lunch/dinner is when we have our favourite waitress Sherralee. Nothing is too much trouble and Sherralee goes out of her way ALWAYS to ensure we have a great meal. Everything she does, she always has a smile on her face. Thank you always for being such a great, personable, friendly waitress:) oh and the pizza is always fab so hat off to the chef 👨🍳 xx
Went in for a meal with my partner, as someone who works in the food industry I am always looking for good quality food & customer service, today all my expectations were met, they had a lovely choice of food, great decor & location & best of all, the customer service was excellent, a big thank you to Sherralee & Katie, they gave us a warm welcome, which sets you up for a great time, they catered to our every need & they were very kind & entertaining to talk with.
Food was fantastic, I had the Sloppy Giuseppe & my partner had the Carbonara, both came quickly, were nice & hot & best of tasted excellent. Well done Mauro & Kieran the chefs of the night.
Lastly we had chocolate brownies served with cream or ice cream, a warm brownies is a superb way to end the meal.
We will certainly be back again. Thank you Horsham team.
I took my parents for a meal, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and friendly service we received from Katie (my parents can be difficult but Katie dealt with their needs excellently). The food and drinks were served very fast and really hit the spot. Will come again!
If your in need of a decent pizza, Pizza Express will not let you down. Always had a double decent service here and the food has always been on point. Make sure to equip yourself with some vouchers before entering the doors as during the week you can usually get food for half price. Keep up the smashing work

Sherralee our waitress was super attentive and friendly. Helped me use the app, made sure the pizzas we wanted to take away at the end were ready and hot as we left. Her personality is exceptional
