Came for food and was pleasantly surprised. Traditional pub inside, with a modern Chinese menu. I say modern, traditional dishes but done fancifully. Service was great! Bar maid (if I can still say that) helped seat us and brought drinks in good time. Food service was equally decent with a quick turnaround from order to eating. Enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Beer garden is a hidden gem for the area. Will definitely be back!

Popped in for a could early on new year's eve, nice little local pub with a good selection of beers and a large selection of gins. Really friendly bar staff and a nice open fire.

Fantastic Sunday roast. All the food is clearly made fresh on site, including the deep fried whitebait which was delicious. The roast comes with a very good selection of vegetables. Incredibly happy with cost Vs quality, definitely a firm favourite from now on. Garden to the rear is large and welcoming with tables you can get a family of five around easily. Lost star purely for the toilets which whilst clean, are in need of some love. However, don't let that put you off, it's a great little pub, just off some stunning walking routes.

A lovely little pub with friendly staff. Nice and cosy with a log burner stove for the cold months and a little garden area for the summer months. It's a great place for a very together with a few friends and a drink or two. It's a classic pub, so no food (that I've seen) The only reason I have only given it 4 stars was that the prices for non-alcohol-drinkers are a bit steep. Otherwise it's 5*

Foresters is a lovely small pub that feels like it could be in a village rather than in a bustling town. Great if a chat with friends is the order of the day. Big garden which is great in the Summer. Has a small restaurant which I haven't eaten at. Has 1 fruit machine, a wood burning stove and music in the background so definitely one for the chatter boxes!

We sat in the garden today with the sun beating down on us, cold drinks, relaxed and clean atmosphere, and one of the best sarnies I have ever eaten.... Belly Pork, Forrester's team you have cracked the nut. Extra "tip of the cap" to your dressed salad, a dish in it's own. Such a reasonable price for the amount and quality of food, great kids menu also. Cannot wait to try the rest if the menu.

Friendly and welcoming traditional pub. The food and the beer are of good quality and reasonably priced. The beer range is limited but what they do have is very drinkable and served in good condition.

Very much a regulars pub but friendly for that with a mixed male and female clientele. Several draft beers plus lagers and cider, with Sharps products prominent. Nice sunny enclosed garden at the rear. Restaurant is currently closed so cannot comment on food but I understand the restaurant reopens on 7th June.

My hubby and self took the dogs for a walk and decided to pop in at Foresters for a drink kr tqo and a pipe smoke. As it was raining we got the whole out side to ourselves besides the few cigarette smokers popping out and then back in once done. The people are friendly and very welcoming.
