I am intorlarant to several foods and this has to be the best place I have found, the chef is so friendly! and incredibly helpful and I always have meals to chose from (I have been to a few places where I have been told I can't have anything on the menu or only one thing) The staff are friendly and it has a warm atmosphere.... definitely a place to go! Thank you!

Thank you to everyone at the Cherry Tree for arranging a table for us all at short notice. The Sunday roasts never disappoint and we all had a lovely meal. Great portion sizes and quality along with value for money. Always assured of a warm welcome here. We will be back soon!

12 of us visited to celebrate an ex-colleagues 70th birthday. We warned we might be a bit noisy and were assured we were not to worry and when we asked if we could decorate our table this was also met with "of course you can" Well we duly turned up, decorated our table along with smiling help from the staff, had a great meal and a really fun evening. We were a bit concerned it might not work, but were admirably surprised; the food was lovely and the staff very accommodating. Shall definitely be back! Thanks to all.

Thank heavens it's Friday. Time for 16 friends to try a different pub. So pleased with the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. Chef was able to get all meals out at the same time. Excellent quality and value. My personal benchmark? The burger. Well, this was probably the best at a pub for a very long time. We will certainly visit again.

Hadn’t visited for a while but a good reminder of what a nice old country pub it is. Always a nice welcome, good service and food and a roaring log fire when it’s cold outside!

Really lovely pub. Great food and the girl at the bar was really friendly and attentive. My son had a great time in the garden and apart from the abnoxious abusive customers at another table we had a lovely afternoon (plus it's dog-friendly!) Shall deffo be coming back!

Beautiful local period pub packed with atmosphere and welcoming. The menu variety can change but the original pie still going down well. Good choice of beer ale and wines . Loved the randomly placed tables. I reccomend booking for dinner if more than 4. Staff welcoming and friendly.

Late lunchtime visit. Good sized Club Sandwich, with large piece of chicken breast. Very tasty... Decent pint of Guinness. Service was a little slow, but I don't know how many orders were already in. Will return of an evening, to try 'proper' dishes.

Had a fabulous meal at Sunday lunchtime, really impressed with the whole experience. Lots of choice on the menu, everyone enjoyed their food, plates cleared quickly, good wait time between courses and able to reorder drinks as and when we wanted. My mum is vegan and mentioned this when booking. She was given her own mini menu with 2 or 3 options for both starter and main and offered fruit salad for pudding so was very well catered for. The bannoffee pie I had for pudding was delicious, exactly what I hoped for. Thank you Cherry Tree Inn for such an enjoyable family lunch, I hope to visit again soon.

Always an enjoyable meal here. Burgers are great and they do a perfect roast on a Sunday. Staff and customers friendly and decent pint. Update - ate again here Friday before Xmas and we both ate from the Christmas menu. Was a really lovely meal and enjoyed immensely. Really surprised how quiet it was given the friday before Christmas and the quality of meals and service. A perfect country pub with open fire. Don't be put off by it being just off a dual carriageway or the elephant slide - this is a real gem of a pub.

Excellent pub, especially on a cold day. The best Sunday roast available in the Crawley/Horham area and lovely home made food in general. First rate service from the kitchen and bar staff. You won't regret going.

The food was absolutely lovely and far better than you'd expect from a little country pub. Very friendly staff with a good sense of humour too. And if you ask nicely they'll let you choose the music they play from Spotify

The menu changed this season, so I couldn't have my regular chicken burger. Problematic deciding what to choose from a pretty good quality menu across the board, but settled on a steak and mushroom pie with sweet potato chips. Excellent value and delicious pie. Extra mayonnaise supplied on request without question by a very nice servant wench who is unfortunately not in the menu. Good red house wine.

Lovely good old woodsmoke pub... Not up its own a@#e. A real pub with no plastic. That includes the rough edges. Had a lovely meal with good prices and very good service. It was my first time but it's on my list now.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals at The Cherry Tree this week, with all our needs well-catered for (plenty of choice for those of us on gluten free and vegetarian diets). Lovely ambience. Dog-friendly too.

Nice pub, but I would say the food is a little over priced especially the kids meals. My biggest problem is the dog poo everywhere in the garden, I counted 2 without searching the my dog found a couple to eat (yuk) I would suggest the owners do not allow dogs in unless people have poo bags as it is not a safe environment for children to play in.
