We went for a Saturday night meal for two. The place was busy but well organised.for starters we had golden moneybags and pork dumplings. Both were hot and beautifully presented. Tasted really nice and fresh. Great flavours. For mains we had pad kee mao and wholesome cashew stir fry with prawns. Again served quickly and tasted amazing. For drinks I had a change beer and we also had a cloudy lemonade. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is the large change beer wasnt available and the starters could have been a little bit bigger. We will definitely try again and hope to give a 5.

Dined here for the third time tonight with my partner and it was flawless yet again. Gorgeous food - we've had the Chang Mai sharing platter, lamb shank Massaman, duck curry, pork cheeks, melting beef, and also their Christmas set menu in 2022. Consistently fantastic, lovely staff, great atmosphere! Cocktails are also delicious

Authentic Thai food served in generous portions.
This restaurant is very easy to get to, if driving from out of town park in Piries Place car park and it’s a short walk.
We ordered a lot between four of us, as the menu is large with a great selection and we simply couldn’t choose.
The service was quick and starters arrived soon after ordering.
The plates were generous for a starter and we ordered 6 plates so we could share and have a taste of most dishes.
Duck spring rolls, “Money Bags” oyster mushrooms, Beef tips, rice balls and their iconic salt and pepper squid.
It’s easy to see why the salt and pepper squid is a favourite, it’s fresh with a light batter and the sauce is delicious.
Onto mains, “taste explosion” comes to mind.
All the dishes tasted nice, the lamb shank massaman was rich and creamy and whilst it’s one of the more expensive items on the menu, you don’t feel cheated because it was so tender. It comes on the bone but it basically falls off. I did however get a very small bone in it too, so some attention should be paid.
The duck was very tasty and the red curry was perfect for anyone looking for that classic clean Thai spice taste.
The menu highlight however was the tofu. The method to get a light crunchy texture is not something you often replicate at home, so it’s a treat. The sweet sauce used was delicious and if you’re looking for a lighter menu item, this one is perfect.
It should be noted that all the meat eaters said this was one of the nicer dishes!
Overall we spent £130 for four of us. This included a bottle of wine and a beer, 6 starters and 4 mains with rice additions to each.
Very prompt and friendly staff, they’re very attentive and friendly.
Few takeaway comments:
They ask for dietary requirements, one of us was Vegan. When ordering, the vegan main we chose was not available. This would have been better to say earlier.
Please add a mango sticky rice to the menu :)

We had dinner here and it didn't disappoint, the staff were friendly and the food good. We do find it a bit pricey at almost £80 + for a shared starter, mains and side and two drinks but its still our preferred Thai restaurant

Cannot thank your chefs, Harry, Jonny and nick enough for making our anniversary meal so special. We are blown away by the high standard service and food. Please send my thanks to the chefs who cooked my prawns and papaya salad, completely preparing the best dish without chilli, oil or dairy. I appreciate this so much as no other establishment gets this right. My dishes were prepared with such care. The drinks we had were second to none. This was our first visit and we are so grateful for looking after us. I cannot recommend you enough.

UPDATE - dropping a star.
There was 2 servers running the whole restaurant. We waited 20mins to pay and we were ready to walk out.
The 10% service charge was a joke and tbh I didn't have the time to argue about it being taken off.
Not sure we would return such a shame because the food was piping hot and delicious. Same the service was poor!
Would love a reply from the Giggling Squid.
Popped in for lunch and was very impressed.

The food was cooked to perfection, as always. Beautifully presented and perfectly portioned. The flavours really come through, from the starters all the way to the mains, including dessert.
The Salt & Pepper Squid 🌶️ 🐙 wasn't too greasy and had a decent layer of batter on top with a nice crisp to it as you bite in.
The Giant King Prawn Pad Thai was mouth watering from the moment it was laid in front of me - the prawns were delicately cooked and gently cut in half, revealing the juicy meat inside - absolutely recommend!
I had a Papaya salad 🥗 as a side dish and it was something I'd never had before but was pleasantly surprised! It was incredibly juicy, tasty and will mention that it was spicy (but I like it hot so didn't bother me!) It was a perfect addition to the meal.
I had a mix of ice cream for dessert which included a scoop of Lychee and Jasmine, which contained toasted rice - and contrary to what you may think initially, I maintain that you'll be pleased with the flavour - such a beautiful combination of flavour and texture.

The drinks selection was ok. I personally think Giggling Squid need to expand their drinks menu to include things like Mocktails and a greater selection of Soft Drinks. We tried the smoothies and whilst they sounded inviting, they tasted quite bland and "manufactured".
#Ambience and Decor
It was peaceful and relaxing. The interior (as with all the branches) has been thought through and applied well. Even when you walk up the stairs to the rest rooms, the journey there is quite intriguing as you come across what appear to be hand painted murals on the walls.

Such a beautiful place with a menu that tells little stories and touches the heart. Food was excellent, my favourite were the prawns starter, the house wine with jellyfish picture on it was phenomenal. Super friendly staff, 5star service. The love to detail with the decor is absolutely stunning. Food quality and ambient is special and prices are very reasonable! Definitely recommended and will return myself!

Dined here for dinner as a couple. Came to around £80 for starters, mains, desserts and a couple of cocktails.
It's quite pricey compared to some other Thai places however the quality here is outstanding. You can really tell the difference in the food and ingredient quality.
The squid was very fresh and had a nice light batter, cabbage was sweet and crisp. Thai melting beef was one of the best curries we have had. Definitely melting and such great flavours!
Turmeric sea bass parcel was a bit bland for our tastes but well cooked.
Overall ambiance was nice. Cosy restaurant with nice decor. Plenty of staff so service was quick and very friendly.
We will definitely be back as there is so much more on the menu we wish to try.

My favourite restaurant in Horsham. I have never once been disappointed by the food and the atmosphere is great. They have a range of spicy and mild dishes, so there is something for everybody. My favourite is the prawn penang. I love that they also use Thai flavour combinations in their cocktails and desserts, which a lot of restaurants do not do. If you come at lunchtime then they have Thai tapas which is great because you get to try more things than you otherwise might.

Delicious food, impeccable service... What's not to love? Giggling Squid is by far my favourite restaurant, the salt and pepper squid is divine! I had a prawn paneang curry this time and my partner had a chicken massaman - both of which were delicious. We shared the trio dessert and enjoyed a great French pinot noir between us too. Highly recommend!

Delicious food and wonderful staff. My young sons aged 18 months and 7 years had lunch in Horsham. The food was tasty as always and the staff were very lovely and attentive with both children. I was able to enjoy my meal too.
Both boys gave their meals a huge thumbs up and cleared their plates.

We've been many times to the Goggling Squid but our experience on Saturday evening was very poor. Pork dumplings were stone cold, we sent them back and they were replaced. The rest of the food apart from the Tamarind duck was barely warm. The service was appalling and the waitress couldn't answer any questions about the dishes. We were left for 25 minutes before our dessert order was taken and then she forgot to bring the dessert so we had drunk our coffee before I reminded her and then dessert finally arrived. To top it off a service charge of 10% was added to the bill, I'm happy to leave a tip if the service is good but it was terrible and the restaurant was only half full. I asked for the service charge to be removed, its disgusting just adding it on like that. Seriously considering if we will visit again following this experience.

Been to many Thai places but this is without a doubt the best ever. I was disappointed that the mussels have disappeared but the chilli and lime beef was superb.
Wish they would move the whole place to Glasgow!!!!!

Great food - lovely staff - but what a shambolic service. I think they were under staffed last night.
On arrival we had to wait quite a long time to be seated as the table was not cleared... no one really properly explained that to us either so we stood around awkwardly for a while.
We had to wait and wait and wait to order ... and our drinks order didn't manifest! We asked several times. I could see them sitting at the bar so I ended up having to go and get them myself. They redeemed themselves with the exceptional quality of the food so it ended up being worth the wait. We were so tired by the end of the night.. even the staff were heading home whilst we were finishing our meals. Not sure I'll go again - we ought to have had a reduced bill due to this experience... we did get an extra bowl of prawn crackers however!

Booked at late notice online for saturday. Welcomed with a smile when we turned up. Sat down and within minutes had our drinks order taken. Food ordered when drinks delivered. Food was amazing and fresh tasting as we've always experienced. Quick with clearing empty glasses and plates without feeling we were being pushed out. Always a great time there, staff always polite and friendly.
