The service was very fast, and the staff was very friendly. They did have at least one trainee so when the restaurant got full, the owner was doing majority of the work. But she did it very efficiently and the quality of service is exceptional here. We didn't have to wait to be served, we didn't have to ask for cutlery or napkins throughout the evening or wait half an hour for the bill. The portions and the prices are average, but the food is really delicious, including the desserts. The mirrors make the place look bigger than it is, which is nice, but my wife and I found them a little distracting as you can see everyone inside from different angles, no matter where you look. Overall, we're very happy with the experience and we'll definitely be coming back.
Lovely atmosphere and incredibly welcoming host. Really tasty food for starter, main and desert!
Can't recommend Filipo's highly enough. A truly family-run Sicilian restaurant, welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely incredible, high quality and perfectly cooked. It's so good that we have already rebooked. Hands down the best restaurant of its type in Horsham.
Visited last night and wow, what an experience. The waitress was super attentive and chatty and the food - exceptional. The carbonara was made properly we were told (!) with no cream and it was amazing, and the calzone was the best we’ve ever tasted. Wine a little on the expensive side per glass but the food was very reasonable, so I don’t mind spending a little more on wine on that basis.
Think I’ve found my new favourite restaurant!
Great service, feels like the proper local restaurant it is. Everything quite simple and freshly cooked and tastes really good. I wasn't that keen on the service charge being added for me at around 12%, but they did make sure I was okay with it before charging it to my card. It was great service, it's just not the way it's done in most places I visit.
Absolutely wonderful dining experience – the main meal actually defeated me, which is unheard of!
Pleasant surroundings and comfortable seating (we were inside, there's outside dining in good weather). Friendly and attentive staff, great food, thoroughly recommended.

Yep, still our go-to restaurant in Horsham. Excellent service and excellent food, great little cozy location.
I should note that it's all upstairs, unless you catch them open at lunchtime when it's warm and they have outside dining, My wife is in a wheelchair, but can just about handle the stairs with help, and the staff is happy to tuck the wheelchair into a safe place downstairs. She definitely feels it's worth the effort!

Back to our favourite Horsham eatery, not much to add to the above, still a great restaurant, with ever-pleasant staff and wonderful food.
5***** amazing atmosphere, great food. Best lasagne I’ve tasted in this area by far. Really treated us well, so friendly and made my anniversary very special. Thank you!

Amazing family run restaurant, with the best seafood pasta I’ve tried in a while. The calzone was to die for and the strawberry cheesecake is a must.
Great service, they will make you feel so welcomed, almost like having dinner at your nonna’s house.
Food was delicious however my brother and kids didn’t come as it was expensive without a children’s menu on their website… towards then end we discovered the children’s menu hidden behind the deserts. The atmosphere was nice but the manageress was a bit spicy about bringing a pram and baby in (6pm table). Probably not very child orientated …more for couples wanting a romantic night. It all worked out well as we had such a quiet baby. There was some pressure at the end to pay the full 15% optional gratuity but we paid 10% with kids eating margarita pizza at £12.50 a pop.
What a delightful spot! The best Italian food since we'd had since our honeymoon in Northern Italy. Filippo makes excellent, authentic Sicilian dishes, and his wife Tina made sure we had everything we needed. Our 2 year old twins ate everything and enjoyed the experience too! We had house wines, seafood pasta, rissoto, and pizza, plus a homemade cheesecake with berries at the end - all delicious! Very reasonable prices and very centrally located.
Wonderful food, excellent attentive service, they'd even put up a 'Happy Birthday' banner for us!
Authentic Italian pizzas, fabulous pasta, all in a relaxed atmosphere. Can't fault it.
If you've not been, go. The food is exceptional and the service is wonderful. The only regret I have is waiting 16 years to find the place!!
Delicious food and outstanding service. We visited for dinner just before lockdown 2.0 and it was really good value for money. A much better place to visit than the usual Italian chains! We will be using their takeaway service soon! Would recommend the pizza - it's huge and so tasty!
Had a lovely meal, came in early Friday evening with no reservation and had great food! I chose the seafood spaghetti and there was plenty of muscles and clams and prawns. And then I shared three desserts with a friend. The Tiramisu was the best then the cheesecake of the day which the roping was fresh strawberry and we were so happy they had pistachio gelato!!! Great meal and great value!
Great experience, friendly staff and tasty pizza. Cheese cake was the best deserts Thanks!!!
Our party of six had pizza, pasta and the special, sea bass. Everybody enjoyed their food including the wine and coffee. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Nice restaurant to eat at, friendly staff, the women that work there are nice looking, always smiling, very helpful staff, in door and out door seating areas. Good menu to look and choose from. Entrance and shop has good decor and plenty of room to move around and sit to eat. Nice restaurant to eat at.
Rhe best Italian restaurant I have ever been to, a wonderful experience that I would repeat a thousand times, delicious, and wonderful treatment from the waiters and owners of the place, I am very grateful to have dined there.
