Had a lovely family meal at this pub, we ordered pizzas & burgers which were very tasty & reasonable priced .. as for the desserts the chocolate fudge cake was massive!! Staff were very friendly and "on the ball" with the service even tho the pub was busy .., highly recommend ... we will be back �

Visited the Old Ball several times over the last few months & becoming a firm fave. Friendly staff, good drink & great food. Meal deals are really worth having too.
Had our sons christening party here and we couldn't of been happier with their service. They helped from start to finish on what to order for how many people and went the extra mile on the day setting up balloons and tables..
More importantly the food was lovely, all of our guests were happy.

Had a graduation party with 15 of my friends. We had a reserved area and all my instructions were followed. All the staff was friendly and amazing. Highly recommended!!
Good pub nice and lively,glasses were rather dirty but I think this happens in glass washers overtime could do with maybe buying more
most of the other bars in the area attract a younger, louder crowd, so thought I would give this pub a try. it has a far better atmosphere, drinks are great, and come at a great price too. the food was excellent.
all this was topped of with excellent service, especially from Abbie, who always had a smile on her face.
great place for a few drinks on a Friday/ Saturday night. great atmosphere, good music being played at all times. the staff are great and fast to serve, even during busy periods, especially Abbie who was constntly on the bar ready to serve.
Lovely dog loving pub with excellent staff and service. Very reasonably priced and bar staff are always happy to give my dog a welcome treat! Five stars out of five from me!
Came in for football and beers, great atmosphere. Service was great and so was the food! Highly recommend the steak - good very well. Beth was great too.

Well presented, clean and spacious. Has plenty of options on draft, including neck oil and brewdog options. Friendly staff. Pool tables, music, sport on telly what more do you need
great service from Abbie last weekend. only stopped in for a few pints and a couple games of pool, but the standout service i received, I will definitely be coming back
Great pub, very local, food good price. Only negative is at busy times, smokers congregate at front door instead of stepping a few more metres into large beer garden so you have to enter and leave through lots of second hand smoke. Needs addressing, bar staff have clear view.
brilliant atmosphere, good beer. the young lass behind the bar, abbie, was stand out. nothing was too much and she was very helpful
I pop in with like minded football parents while our kids train up the road. It's brilliant on a Friday we get a couple of madri's each at £3 a pint 👌 the other drinks are priced fairly aswell. A mixed age groups and cultures all work well in this friendly pub/ restaurant 👌

Amazing service today at the old ball called in on my way home. Was served by a nice geordie lad and a big guy with a beard never been before but thought definitely ately the place to go in horsforth now I've moved there. Would highly recommend if want some nice grub and a gorgeous pint !
the outdoor atmosphere is great and fantastic beer selection. The ambiance is lively and enjoyable, making it the perfect spot to unwind and relax during your vacation，I will come back again .
Got the Irish breakfast, it was a good feed but I feel to call in an Irish breakfast it needs white pudding or potato bread!

Easily one of my favourite places to go for a drink. Cozy local pub with great staff and atmosphere, delicious food and a great selection of drinks. Location serves as a good landmark for meeting with friends and is easily accessible with plenty of seats inside and out. Only good memories in this pub!
