Beautiful food, the mussels were fantastic! The staff are lovely and it’s the perfect atmosphere for a pub lunch. Not a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans, but you’ll eat well.

Great pub with fantastic food options (Slap & Pickle). Ever changing tap so you can try all kinds of beers and they also have seasonal drinks like mulled wine (near the holidays). Love the cozy old pub vibes and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting/living in Horsforth area. Very dog friend

Fabolous Sunday roast last week. I had the nut roast which was amazing and my husband the beef (which apparently was equally as delicious). All the trimmings were cooked to perfection too, which is always a sign of the care and attention placed by the chef. Special mention to the cauliflower cheese

New owners are friendly and helpful. Much cleaner and welcoming than it used to be. I have lived in Horsforth for over thirty years and didn't know it had a beer garden. Pool table off beer garden in what looks like an old garage.

I've just moved into the area and was enticed in on a wet sunday afternoon by the sound of a great live piano singer. Fantastic pint of beer and a Thai curry later and I'm a happy man. So happy that this place is on my doorstep.

Lovely pub. Fun with or without the family and always a warm welcome. Featuring food from the renowned Forde restaurant next door. Always plenty of live entertainment from local bands to stand up comedy. Fantastic!
