Stunning fish and chips at the Brownlee Arms! We've been a loyal patron for many years and the standard remains high. Great to visit and enjoy the same excellent food and customer service! A wonderful family friendly local establishment ☺️
We held a birthday party for my son in the garden room over the Bank Holiday and had a fabulous time. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and quickly responded to any requests. The food was fabulous and out guests were very impressed! Many thanks to Tracey and the team!
Came here on a freezing cold night during Xmas lights turn-on evening, seeking warmth and comfort food. We found the right place! Young staff were very friendly and professional and nice relaxed vibe inside. I had Brownlee burger which was full of flavour and didn't fall apart like most large burger
Great service, pleasant atmosphere. The beef pie was huge, with a crisp exterior and hearty filling. Their high ratings are well justified.
Great atmosphere, service was lovely we were well looked after. Food was delicious and served in a good time even though our booking was the middle of lunch rush time. Very happy with the experience! Can only recommend 😊
Good selection of hearty fare with plentiful portions. Classics like burgers, steak and ale pie and fish cake are tasty and filling, with the fish cake given a nice twist with egg and spinach. Perhaps the differentiator is the tacos which allow you to have 3 dishes in one. All very tasty. Service wa
Really good food. Friendly staff, good service - timely without being intrusive - and pleasant environment. I would happily eat here again. Had Skagen Toast, Beef Sunday Roast, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The starter was good, the main and dessert excellent.
Went for lunch with my Dad; food was really nice, excellent quality, service was very good, polite staff. Tables well spaced out. Music was playing quietly.
Great roast, and deserts and cheese board. Excellent service and friendly staff
Such a lovely experience for dinner here. A really good atmosphere in the light airy back part of the restaurant. Really high quality food and a varied menu and impeccable service from the young waiting staff team. Highly recommended
We held mum's funeral tea here. The whole thing has been effortless. Staff very efficient from the initial booking and on the actual day. Lovely, generous buffet and they even provided "doggy bags" for us. My grateful thanks to all involved.
Went for lunch had steak sandwich and chips, the steak melted in the mouth washed down with a pint of perfectly kept Landlord bitter. Highly recommend this place.
Had lunch there today Fish and chips a bit greasy for my liking.
