Really enjoyed the standard national trust scones and a nice coffee sitting outside in the grounds.
In the morning we have had piece of cake and coffee each.
To me the service was kind of unorganised.
Later after the walk we wanted something hot. Menu on the blackboard offered jacket potato, we thought that be good idea but Caffè staff said that they had finished serving hot food for today.. That was at 2:30 pm, but the time on the board was 3pm.
The cafe is well set out with plenty of tables and chairs. But the service is a little overpriced and slow.
The jugs of water put out had a horrible taste 😞
The staff are nice and friendly
A nice but small room just behind the cafe bar area. The doors were open and cafe fairly well ventilated. This little cafe is not far from the car park. There is also a good outdoor seating area with tables.
Lovely ladies on today working ever so hard in the 33 C degree heat.

Make sure the Manager is handing out ice lollies please to all staff and volunteers.
