The Green Owl - Hornsea - Photo album

Stopped for a coffee and cake. Fantastic little outside space, very warm and sunny a nice little sun trap to watch the world. Kids had a special hot chocolate with extras whic went down very well and although we didn’t eat, we saw the breakfasts come out and they looked fantastic! Will be back to tr
Our friend took us to this place as he'd been before. He had the crispy chicken burger, whilst we had the fish finger sandwich 🥪 - wow, we were struggling to eat the sandwich, it was so filling......so much so we only had a cup a soup at the end of the day as we couldn't manage anything else. Lovel
Called in for some lunch. We had a sandwich, which came with a small side salad, and we upgraded to add fries. The food was nice and the staff were polite and friendly. The service was quick.
After being let down by another local business, our party of 10 gave them a call to check if they had space for us, as well as vegan options. Within 20 minutes they had a table set up and reserved, had alerted the kitchen of the large order, and arranged everything we needed. If that wasn't enough,
Great breakfast, friendly service, reasonably priced! Dog friendly and accommodating 👍🏻
Such a friendly place to spend time in. The staff and customers alike are wonderful. Superb coffee and excellent food. Dog friendly, too. Hornsea's jewel in the crown. Well worth a visit.
We stopped in for tea as a family of 4. 3 of us had pizzas, 1 had a pie. Fantastic food, great service and very reasonable prices. Outdoor seating is to the front so great for people watching.
I've been here three times now, the last with a group. They opened the end of last year and appear to be taking off! I wish them all the best. Accessibility - level entrance, manual door. Disabled loo manual door into a corridor and in through another, no ermergency pull cord. The loos are inherite
Smashing food & drink here. We didn't realise the little discounts till we ordered, nice surprise! Lad with the beard really looked after us, we didn't get his name but a real credit to himself & his employers..
What a lovely pub to visit with the family. A lovely cosy place with kind and helpful staff who welcomed the whole family, including the dog (who got special treats!) Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious. Would not hesitate to return when next in the area.
Really nice food but very slow with drinks order didn't come till after we had received our food
Marvelous, I met with friends for coffee, stayed for beers, and returned for pepperoni cheese toasties on wholegrain. Lovely, came hot with nachos, red coleslaw and decent salad. Dish arrived in good time with good service and a nice cold Guinness > nice background music and friendly customers too.
Had a great breakfast here in a great atmosphere. Service was quick and with a smile. Food served hot and good portions. Very popular so get there early.
Found The Green Owl whilst looking for somewhere to have a family breakfast on Easter Monday, glad we did too!!! The service was brilliant, considering we turned up unannounced as a party of 9 (plus one dog) on an already busy morning, the staff very quickly put some tables together for us and made
Great food and good gluten free options. Nice atmosphere great service
This place sits directly in the sunlight which makes it very attractive to eat outside when the weather is clement enough. Good food, if a little small on portion. Great gone made Victoria sponge on the day I visited.
