Visited Hornsea on a fresh and sunny Saturday in October and we're very excited to have fish and chips in a still working fishing town. This was one of the best fish and chips we've had for a long time and was bonused by the fact that you applied your own salt and vinegar 😌, which I haven't seen in the south for years. This fish was fresh and succulent, cooked to order, so a little bit of a wait, but oh so worth it. There is plenty of outdoor eating tables in the gardens on the opposite side of the road.

Fantastic place for fish and chips. I had sausage and chips and it was amazing. Lovely and fresh and hot. Ladies were lovely inside and the que was short. Fish is cooked fresh and the shandy was a sweet liytle touch. Prices were fair, will defo come again.
Ordered Cod, fish n peas. Cod cooked fresh, about 5 mins wait. Friendly and efficient staff.

Had a late afternoon visit to Hornsea with friends on the bikes so we had our usual treat of sausage chips and gravy .. yummy as always. We had the meal deal ..sausage and chips and drink for £3.. great deal and worth every penny . Sat eating our tea with a view of the sea and our bikes .chilled out with friends ...priceless ...well it was when we went back for our ice creams to the chippy kiosk. X best value double Mr whippy with double flake ...£2.. never seen it so cheap for a seaside place . X

I'm from South Shields, was in the area working, and tried this chip shop. I can honestly say I've NEVER experienced food like this from a chippy, one word WOW! The chips were perfectly cooked, the sausage batter was crisp and not dense, the flavour was spectacular, and the shop is immaculate! The 2x ladies were lovely, as soon as our orders were placed they started cooking to replace ours so they were cooked fresh! I will definitely be doing the 2 hours and 45-minute drive back one weekend for this again!

Yorkshire fishcake butty was amazing!!! My partner has fish and chips but didn't rate it at all!! Told him he should have had a fishcake 😂

Excellent Haddock and chips. Very light batter, chips perfect, peas spot on. Our second visit in 2 days they were that good. Our favourite in Hornsea. Very reasonable price I thought too. Keep up the good work! Pensioner Fish and chips a good size for small children ( don't need to be a pensioner to order)

Had a meal deal from here. One was battered sausage and chips and one was fishcake and chips. Comes with a drink for £4.50 each. Very good value especially with todays Fish and Chips prices. Enjoyed it nice place

We have never been to Hornsea before today as we drove along the front we saw a one hour parking spot empty so we pulled in, we had a quick look around the front which we thought was a lot better than Brid. We got back to the car and noticed there was a chippy opposite my other half said do you fancy fish and chips I said of course I do I sat in the car and she appeared with our meal and as I had just seen the traffic go past and he had nodded we thought it was ok to sit and eat them were we were so we did what a joy to behold great fish great fish and the curry sauce was in the same category the best F&C I have had all year and the price was reasonable what more can I say.well done great meal
Always really nice fresh fish and really nice chips although the size of the fish was a little small at nearly a tenner for fish , chips and peas !
Always a fantastic chippy! Nothing soggy or dry. Patties are the best in East Yorkshire! Because the chippy is so good, there are always queues, however, and they're not well managed, so quite easy for people to queue jump. Only one salt & vinegar dispenser, which were nearly empty, will still retun though because the food is so good!
