We were cycling past and saw there were seats outside, so stopped for a drink. Friendly staff, nice clean loos. Taking contact details if you eat or drink inside, which is good. Nice pint.

Warm and welcoming village pub. Freshly cooked roast dinner, home grown produce and very friendly customers. All in all a lovely afternoon.

Lovely local pub serving a couple of ales, one guest beer from Marstons on when we were in. Food is good and tasty pub fare, nothing fancy but well cooked and presented. Friendly staff, efficient service and friendly locals. Prices are fair well worth a visit.

Welcoming host, plenty space including beer garden. Good facilities. Well kept pub. Good houdekeeping. As daft as this may sound draft diet coke excellent. So many pubd have apalling soft drinks yet charge the earth.

I agree wholeheartedly with Drew Marsh. Good food, not gourmet but very nice, Marstons ale, and very friendly. I'll stay in the village again and come back. Apparently the steaks are good.

Great food. And the real ale was spot on. It's worth the effort to go and try. Definitely going again.

Really cool bridge spanning the river tweed with the north side of the bridge being Scotland and south side England. Room for a few cars to park and easy to walk along the bank of the tweed

Gorgeous little place, live music coming soon, going to be nice to come back in summer to see how they do. Only takes cash at the moment but hopefully that will get sorted soon. Stunning location

Good to see a small village pub still around. We called in briefly for a pint and a pot of tea and there was a knit and chat meeting happening. Should be supported.

nice little village pub. we were staying in Horncliffe for a long weekend and went to the 'blues night' on Monday. It was excellent, just a few locals with instruments, but it was jamming.
