Went here last night for a family birthday, the food was excellent and the service was great. I would highly recommend for any occasion. The salmon was incredible.
Beautiful gem in Hornchurch, Food is lovely! Great value, 2 courses for 14.95. You get your money’s worth and more. The service is great very attentive and the vibe is lovely. Couldn’t recommend enough
We had a lovely time at Alex’s on Sunday - the weather was good so we sat outside, enjoyed beer and great cocktails then ate a superb meal. The 2 lamb shanks we ate were huge and cooked perfectly, as was the seafood risotto and the seafood linguini.

The first time I came there was a party but it set a lovely atmosphere here. The 2nd time there was just a few tables so alot quieter. Still lovely though.
The choices are really good. I think this is my new favourite restaurant. One I would definitely come back to.over and over agian.
And I never say that about Aby of them.

Take no notice of some recent negative reviews. This is a great place. Good food good service and a good price. Makes a nice change from the boring Turkish restaurants in this area of Essex.

I have eaten here before and after the major refurbishments, and what a difference the new décor makes. New shop front, new everything inside, they have removed the large pillars inside making it roomier. Everything is brand new, flooring, feature walls, decorated, new bar, chairs, tables, it looks great. The staff have always been welcoming, efficient and well dressed. The service is prompt, obviously if it is a full restaurant I'd expect to wait a little longer, although we had tasty nibbles served to us between courses which was a nice touch. I found the meals I have eaten have been tasty, well presented & good portions. I have been with a small group of friends and with a large group. They have nice Italian beers, and I have also popped in for just a coffee in the afternoon no booking required no fuss, just a nice coffee in the afternoon. All very accommodating which is nice with no fuss or rolled eyes which some restaurant's do as your not spending a fortune. Hopefully I will be back soon for my daughters birthday! Keep up the good work
We've had several delicious meals here, it's truly exceptional food for such a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

I don’t often do reviews but after reading such bad reviews on here I was a bit apprehensive about booking the restaurant since it had re-opened a few weeks ago. No need to worry it is still as good as it always was. Every table was full which is always a good sign, staff cannot do enough for you, food is beautiful and good size portions. My partner and I will definitely be returning. Terri x
