I always like to try somewhere new and especially when it’s in my hometown of Hornchurch. So when I saw that Fireaway Pizza were opening a branch here I wanted to give them a try. So at the moment in this current situation and where it’s important to Support Your Local Business it seemed like a great opportunity to give them a go.
This branch is situated on station lane in between Onyx & Sortie Grill. It does have a few tables inside but at the moment like everyone else they can only do takeaway or delivery. So on Saturday after our morning exercise I sat down signed up to which you receive a code entitling you to 10% of your first order.
We decided to order the BBQ Boss which was topped with Red Onion , Sweetcorn & Chicken and that had a bbq base. The Cheesy which had a tomato base and topped with Mozzarella , Parmesan & Cheddar. The last one was the Roma which again was tomato based and topped with Mozzarella , Pepperoni & Jalepenos.
We placed the order just after one o’clock and immediately received an email which one confirmed the order and two stated the delivery time would be ten minutes to two which was perfect. Then just before half past I received another email saying pizzas were on there way. This was followed by an immediate knock on the door and there they were our pizzas had been ordered and delivered within thirty minutes. So excellent service indeed.
Now it was time to sit down and taste. The first thing to say is that they were all fresh , hot and nicely cooked. As well as this I can also now confirm that each pizza was absolutely delicious so yes I would highly recommend giving them a try.
Ordered 4 pizzas for takeaway for my mum's birthday last Wednesday and because I said it was my mum's birthday they made us a free Nutella pizza for her which was a very kind gesture, my mum really appreciated it, lovely owners and chef. The pizzas are delicious even a margarita pizza tastes lovely as they put herbs on it. Would definitely recommend and thank you for remaining open and providing us with delicious pizzas throughout this lockdown period.
7th March 2021 - so we thought we try ordering the pizza verson. Very nice flavours .. only let down was that the pizza dough was abit hard and tough to chew.. (not fresh dough?) After eating second slice my jaw was already tired!
May 2020 - We had a calzone takeaway and chicken strip.
Lovely calzone... could do with abit more sauce base and chicken strip taste like southern chicken not that good standard -therefore rated 4.
Good quality pizza with a decent amount of toppings. The pizza is slightly on the expensive side compared to competitor chains but it could be argued to be of better quality than them.

Ordered a few pizzas and they were delivered really quickly, the pizzas were piping hot and very tasty. Will defo order again.
Very satisfying pizza at the end of a long bike ride, with cheerful service and a reasonable price. It would have been good to be able to sit outside but we could see the bikes from just inside the store. Will definitely come back!
Such a shame!! This branch has been Closed now for a month. Fresh and quick delivery, pizzas were delicious and the kids loved it. We've ordered from this branch several times and have always been happy. Pizza come with a garlic or bbq sauce.
Great 👍 service and pizza 🍕 was delicious 🤤 yum 🤤 definitely worth trying for takeaway
