It is by far the best place in Romford to see live Bands and it's affordable so you don't spend a small fortune... Well worth a visit. Great Staff and a Manager that knows her stuff.
Best place around for live music. Other places in the local area have a stage area and you can't get a good view due to people or beams etc. At the Crown great sound and view...

Went to see a live band (The Devils Punchbowl) who were brilliant. Great covers of some fabulous rock songs. Bar staff were very friendly, quick service and clearing of empty glasses. Loved the Halloween decorations too.
Turned up on my 1st fancy dress night at The Crown with a friend. The band was great and the buffet was lovely and spoilt for choices. It was rammed and into the night, it was fun night and loads wore fancy dress costumes. Free sweets went down a treat. Cannot thanks the staff enough. Back next year πππππ»
We didn't have any food just drinks hence no stars for that. 4 of us came in here for what we thought would be a couple of drinks and then we go home after a monthly Hubb Club meeting nearby. 2 great bands appeared and we stayed till around 11.30pm instead. Nice.

Brilliant pub with loads of entertainment. Yesterday they had Ska n Mash playing and they were really good. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and even though the pub was rammed I still got served in under 5mins. Keep up the good work to the staff at The Crown and thank you for making my day enjoyable.

Once again,i've been to this excellent pub to see the wonderful Lord Toffingham, check them out if you like glam rock stuff from the 70's.the pub has live music every week which is rare but its a great pub anyway...enjoy.

Live music every weekend, Hedgehog this week, great rock covers band. Great venue, staff work really hard as never too long to wait at the bar despite it being busy.

Friendly pub with live performances. Staff are friendly and drinks reasonably priced. Parking can be a pain, but plenty of side streets newrby (as long as you pay attention to parking restrictions)
Great for some head banging on a Friday night. Always too loud and too crowded for your average pub goer but not for me & my mates. The pub has bands on every Friday, most are really good quality and play the old stuff from the 70s to 00s. Despite the crowds, bar staff work hard to keep up demand for drinks and keep the tables clean. Good night out if you like that sort of thing.
The pub looks small and when you walk in its quite dark and mildly dingy but the atmosphere is great and the staff cheerful, polite and helpful. They have regular entertainment which is always a hit and enjoyable.
This is a very friendly and welcoming family pub. Children welcome as ling ad parents keep them with them.
They have live rock music every Fri Sat and Sunday evenings, and Jam night is on Wednesday.
It has a great atmosphere so give it a try.
I love The Crown and always have a great night.
