I went to a party at this restaurant and really enjoyed it! A very nice and welcoming place, with good food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The only thing I would suggest was that the music played during dinner could be a bit lower to allow for more chatting. But still a 5 stars review!
Just want to give a massive shout out to the lovely Elena for her patience, kindness and professionalism.
We went in to enquire about a private dining event and we were greeted with a warm welcome and promptly shown around the venue at our request.
It was an extremely, sweltering hot afternoon and following the viewing, Elena saw to it that we left the venue cooled down, comfortable and happy.
That meant a lot. Some businesses don't realise that it's the little things that make the biggest difference and have such a positive impact on customer experience.
Amber was also lovely and showed us images and videos of the venue on their social media. Our numbers are above capacity, but we will definitely be keep Onyx Restaurant & Bar in mind for future events.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely food and the staff also very considerate as we was with our baby and they advised there is a party upstairs if it gets too loud they will move us. Will definitely go again

We booked a meal for our daughters 16th birthday, there was 13 of us in total. The meal was booked for 7pm but some of out party got there at 6. We was able to decorat the table and area we had as out table was ready. My daughter and her friends turned up at 7pm and they played happy birthday as she walked in.
The team coyldbt have done more for us last night, everything was perfect! The food and service was the best I have seen in a long time.
The team are a massive credit time that beautiful restaurant.
The music and atmosphere was also brilliant!

We went for lunch at Onyx on the second day of opening (12 Oct) at lunch time so pretty quiet. I had the 4 cheese risotto and my partner the Calzone, both really tasty. The decor is very smart and we liked the open kitchen at the back of the restaurant. Staff are really nice and helpful. It would be nice to see a brunch type menu in the future. We would go back again and see what the atmosphere is like in the evening.
Went to Becca Brunch yesterday. The food was lovely and 2hrs of bottomless prosecco , what fab Saturday afternoon ! Becca was brilliant, she got everyone up dancing, she is an amazing singer and entertainer. Would highly recommend.
We had an amazing time at Becca’s Brunch, the food was gorgeous, the drinks we’re constantly topped up and the atmosphere was incredible.

Went here on date night with my boyfriend. We loved the ambience and the food and cocktails were amazing. The staff were also very polite and welcoming. Will definitely be returning as it’s become one of our favourites in the area!
