I tried the Fish & Chips for the first time at Poseidons and I was pleasantly surprised. 10/10. I called them to place an order for 1 Large Cod and Regular Chips, asking the proprietor can you cook me a fresh cod with my chips, and he said, no problem, there’ll be ready in 10 mins. Just long enough

Literally the best fish and chips shop I have gone to, everything is so good and well made, with real stuff and not with trash.
Everything there is so delicious, I am going there for lunch every single day with exceptions sometime but overall going everyday possible.

Excellent place to eat, I used to be in the industry for 25years and I’m very fussy with fish and chips, to be honest I only wish they were closer to me, but whenever I’m in the area I will stop by for something to eat.

Walk past the shop every day when picking my 2 children from the school round the corner, my wife text me said she has not sorted dinner so we popped in. portions sizes are larger than expected, food looked and tasted fresh, the young man behind the counter was polite, fast and helpful.

How refreshing to find a fish and chips shop with such friendly staff, whatever they are being paid, double it! Also the food is lovely, and especially like the taste of the chips, cooked well and in a very good oil. If I'm ever in Ardleigh Green way, I at least know where I'll be eating.
Great traditional fish and chips, super friendly service and good sized portions of chips, all at regular chip shop prices.
Really awesome food, i tried here due to friend recommendation. Really tasty and perfectly cooked chicken. The chips are big and soft not small and crispy which is how chips should be, there cooked in a certain nut oil which is amazing. If you don't have a nut allergy then try chicken and chips £2
This place was so cute and the food was delicious! We wanted to try authentic fish and chips on our trip to the UK and we loved it! The service was great and everyone was so kind and patient while we asked questions!
Today I ordered a medium cod and medium Chips. taste was amazing also had a 11 minute drive home was surprisingly still hot and taste amazing.

The BEST fish and chips and the BEST customer service (lovely family-run business!) Poseidons never disappoints and I am looking forward to the next time I go! For anyone looking for a good meal, I would 100% recommend Poseidons! Thank you for the great food!
