I met up with a friend at Sortie on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was fairly busy. We ordered starters (stuffed vine leaves and spinach pancake), mains (lamb shank and Ali Nadiz - or something like that!) and soft drinks. The service was great and the food was really lovely. My main was a little rich as I got to the end but it was delicious. You get complimentary bread and dips as well.
I have been there before on a Saturday night as part of a large group and ordered from a set menu and the food was very good then too (I had the halloumi for starters, mixed fish kebab for mains and tiramisu for dessert - all delicious).
My wife & I were out for the afternoon & popped into Sortie Grill & Bar, to grab some dinner. It was an excellent choice. The customer service was very good, the staff were friendly, polite & very welcoming. The food was delicious & reasonably priced for the portions & quality of food. Thank you Sortie Grill & Bar, for a lovely end to an awesome afternoon out with my wife.
An excellent Monday to Thursday lunch deal. One course £10.99, two courses £13.49. Full size servings, no skimping, well presented, good quality. Lamb stew was huge, tender, fresh and spiced just right. Sea bass was fresh grilled and simple. Both with rice, and salad with the fish. Wine, about £7 for a big glass. Friendly staff. Only one option in both starter and mains for veggie though. Tasty AND a bargain.
My partner and I had a lovely evening. We left completely full and satisfied with our meal. Staff were attentive to gluten free needs with a reasonable range to choose from. The menu had a lovely range of options including vegetarian and options that could be made vegan. The cocktail I had was incredible, I was very happy.
Took my dad for lunch on his birthday. Food was very good, well seasoned and cooked. Staff friendly, clean venue, no long wait times and the lunch special is only £13.95 for two courses each. It’s nice that a restaurant is actually offering good value these days

Went here on a Monday night for a family birthday, had to get two buses from Barkingside and Romford so was hoping it was worth it, it definitely was. We had some fabulous cocktails, not cheap but not short on booze either, recommend the long island ice tea. The food was excellent, we had a mixture of starters including roasted goats cheese, spinach pancakes and stuffed vine leaves , all if which were very tasty. We also had hummus which I felt lacked enough garlic for me but recognise a balance needs to be struck as not everyone is a fan but it was good even so, the bread was also pretty spectacular as were the dips. For main we had mixed grills and chicken Beyti with rice and Salads, all were very good but the lamb especially tasted great and was so soft to eat. We wanted a desert but were too stuffed to eat anymore but the staff brought out a little strawberry Cheesecake faith with a lit candle for the birthday girl, a caring touch which we weren't expecting. They were quite happy for my sister to have a doggy bag as she couldn't eat much and wanted to take it home for later. Overall a good restaurant, clean and lovely staff who will look after you. There is a 12.5% service charge on the bill, we don't mind as we are always happy to reward good service but just something to be aware of.

We visited Sorties for a friends birthday meal on a Friday night.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile.
Despite it being a set menu, they were happy to adjust sides to suit our taste.
They even served a little bowl of chilli flakes as I said I like my food to be hot.
The food was exceptional and everyone commented on how good it tasted.
The entertainment for the evening was a young lady singer, and she made it a night out rather than just a meal.
The staff brought out cakes and sang happy birthday, which was also a nice touch.
All in all, I cannot recommend Sorties highly enough.
Keep up the good work, and I hope to return soon.

I hosted a surprise birthday party at this restaurant with 20 guests! This restaurant is fantastic! The private dining room looked elegant, the food was delicious and the staff were lovely! Takkir was our attendant for the night and he did a stellar job! So attentive and so patient with my group. He put candles on the cake I brought to the restaurant and made the experience 5 star.
I will definitely be back again.
A quiet Monday evening but still a lovely atmosphere. Staff were very attentive, Lucy was fabulous! Funny, helpful and nothing was a problem. I had the chicken Beyti, my go to dish in a Turkish, this was the most flavoursome I have ever had! Can't wait to go back!
Wow, went there for a meal for a 50th birthday, had one of the side rooms and our own waitress who couldn't do anymore for us if she tried, fantastic. Singer was great, the whole restaurant was up dancing after dinner, food was fantastic, had a set menu and couldn't fault it. Will definitely go back.

I’m not one to rave so incredibly highly of a restaurant but Sortie is honestly perfect in my eyes. Especially for someone who’s gluten free it was incredibly easy to order, the food is amazing it’s fresh! Possibly the best shish you’ll ever have. Plus the atmosphere is always wonderful the staff seem happy and are so attentive and polite, topping our drinks up when we ordered a bottle of Prosecco. Plus the brunch days and weekend singers are amazing too. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more! I’ve booked an evening meal for my birthday soon and i know it’s going to be great as always.

Absolutely 💯 brilliant night. The singer was excellent. Even got me and my son dancing outside. We went out for my dad's 78th birthday and wasn't disappointed. Definitely will be going back soon. EXCELLENT.
Special birthday celebrations, food excellent, attentive and personal service from "H" who looked after us so well all afternoon, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend this gem in Hornchurch!
