Absolutely great food, service and atmosphere 10/10. We were welcomed and shown the menu and the waiter was happy to answer any questions about the menu. Food was brought up quickly and hot, taste was lovely and staff always available should you need anything. Would def reccommend, lovely meal and nice to have a restaurant that is slightly different to your normal every day curry.
Had a great night out at Tandoori Lounge, food was as a good Indian should be, full of flavour and spice. Loved the original menu. Recommend the Sizzling veggie platter, Paneer Karahi and the Gulab Jamun trifile was awesome. Looking forward to going back and trying something new.
1st visit where do I start? Setting 1st class, staff 1st class, food 1st class overall 1st class would highly recommend & will definitely be returning thank you so much for a 1st class eating out experience x

Went here today and I was amazed. Food was superb and the staff and owners were top class.
Would come back again and will tell all my friends about this place.
Great restaurant, lovely atmosphere. Very good food and staff so helpful. Best Indian in town... highly recommend x
First time eating here tonight. Fancied a more traditional Indian and definitely wasn’t disappointed. The food was gorgeous and had so much flavour. The staff were very helpful and helped us choose from the menu based on our usual commercial Indian choices . Will be back soon!!
Excellent Indian cuisine from the Punjab region served in a chic modern restaurant. Attentive and friendly service. Expensive but good sized servings.
The restaurant welcomed us friendly .food quality was good as its taste. We loved the place .Best place to dine .
Chief Thaman adhikari is very friendly
Award winning Indian restaurant worthy of thr highest praise. I visited Tandoori Lounge 4 years ago when they had just opened doors to the public.
My visit today was nothing short of amazing. The food - fresh, authentic and cooked to perfection. Exactly the way it was cooked 4 years ago. Very, very rare for a restaurant to maintain such quality over so many years.
I was very pleased with the waiting stuff, with the location, the interior, the authentic ambience - everything has aligned together to bring this perfect dining experience.
Thank you to the owners, who were able to accommodate my booking request at the last minute, and for making sure we felt like VIP guests all night long.
The fact that the majority of the restaurant guests were Indian people enjoying their dinner, in my opinion, speaks volumes for the authenticity and quality of the food.
Well done and thank you for such a great dining experience!
Edit: Best naan bread I’ve ever had. Fresh and delicious.
From start to finish the lovely waitress Jane looked after my husband and I. I cant eat dairy or gluten and she took me through the menu, double checked what was acceptable for me and suggested a really lovely starter for me too.
She was always on the move and so proactive at her job. She made our visit a joy and we will definately be back again.
Been here on several occasions. Great for a treat and always get great recommendations from the owners. Because everything is fresh, they tailor your spice preferences - so everyone is happy!
Great place - lived in the area for years but first time here. Very tasty and extra friendly staff

Beautiful food, nice decor and attentive staff. Owner came round to chat to us which was a nice touch. Authentic Indian food, well presented and fantastic flavours. Will return.
After starting the year in isolation it was great to get my foodie year up and running. For this I decided to stay local and enjoy some fabulous Punjabi Cuisine at my favourite Indian restaurant the Tandoori Lounge. I love their Punjabi style of food which is very different to your normal Indian restaurant. This is why I find it hard to understand when I see people turn up look at their menu and leave because if you love Indian food then you will love it here.
We decided to go for an early evening table and on our arrival was given a very friendly welcome before being seated at our table. We started with a drink while we had a look at the menu. This consists of vegetarian , seafood , meat starters and mains , biryanis , rice dishes , breads and of course desserts. There is also a good selection of gluten free options just mention when ordering.
For our starters we decided to order the Tandoori Vegetable Kebab and the Punjabi Rashmi Kebab with a delightful Mixed Raita on the side. These were both delicious and full of flavour and spice.
It was now time to order our mains and we couldn’t resist the temptation of ordering our favourite dishes and also remember you can have each dish as spicy as you like. Again just mention when ordering. We chose the Jhinga Karahi a prawn dish mixed with herbs , spices , onions & peppers. The Tandoori Lounge Special Lamb cooked in a punjabi style gravy. To accompany these we chose the Sag Aloo , Jeera Rice and Tandoori Naan. Every dish was cooked perfectly with the flavours and spices of each dish spot on.
Before dessert we had a little break which gave us a chance to have a catch up with owners Sukh & Haneet. They are a lovely couple who along with their young and friendly team try to provide you with the best dining experience possible. So now on to dessert and watch out pastry chefs as I had an absolute delicious Gulab Jamun Trifle a mix of gulab jamun , mango custard , cake , whipped cream , coconut & pistachio. We also had the Gulab Jamun which are soft doughnut’s soaked in a syrup.
This brought to an end another fantastic visit to the Tandoori Lounge. Their punjabi style of food is absolutely delicious and so it will come as no surprise when I say that I would highly recommend a visit to this fabulous Indian restaurant. I for one will be looking to make a return visit in the near future.
Thank You Sukh , Haneet and all the team for a fantastic evening and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Wonderful selection of Punjabi dishes and finally an Indian restaurant that has proper deserts. Only fault is drinks menu which is limited and severely needs more soft drink options and maybe Lal Toofan as a beer option. Quite small and maybe tables can be placed differently to stop you feeling bunched up however very pleased overall
Had a good night at Tandoori Lounge with close friends.
The only downside is the drinks options we like to have a flavoured cider and/or a pint of soft drinks but this is not available.
The staff was friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome.
Visited for a birthday party and tried the selection of meat and vegetarian starters. Dishes ranged from the usual tandoori chicken, lamb kebabs and samosa (which was amazing) to paneer and fish pakora. All were very tasty and looked amazing. Being punjabi myself it is always refreshing to eat north Indian food at an establishment. Can't wait to try their curries the next time I visit. Will update my review accordingly.
Completely different from your conventional British curry house. Stunning menu, and staff are happy to explain comparisons. We had a fantastic evening with the explosion of random karaoke both Indian and British songs. A lovely meal, evening and experience.
Give a try you will not be disappointed
We got takeaway from this restaurant and are SO GLAD we did. We moved to the area in February and have been struggling to find an authentic Indian restaurant, but we’ve found it. Shoutout to the people on the local Facebook groups who recommended this place for authentic Indian. We will be back many times over!
The food is amazing. We booked this as a last resort as we couldn't book anywhere....we were not disappointed. If you like proper punjabi food (not the typical indian places that are actually owned by people other than people from India) then this is the place to go.
Really loveeee the food here, it’s authentic and the owners are brilliant, but my only piece of feedback is that I think the interiors let the dining-in experience down massively, especially the acoustics! Will only order takeaway now as still love to eat the food. I think this restaurant could excel further if it had some help from an interior designer :)
Amazing food and management is a team of very nice people, I definitely be back again. Thank you
Amazing and authentic Indian restaurant in Hornchurch. It was purely by accident that we chanced on this place in November 2020, and we have been regular with our takeaways ever since. No dining in yet due to ongoing Covid restrictions, but wouldn’t be surprised that the place will usually be packed once the lockdown has eased fully around mid May 2021. Food is absolutely fantastic and the owners very friendly and happy for a conversation. No hesitation to recommend this restaurant - have already got a few of my friends do their own takeaways post my recommendation to them.
Quality Punjabi restaurant that does not serve halal meat for it’s Indian and non Muslim clientele.
Food and service was excellent throughout. The Mix Grill is highly recommended.
