Excellent local family pub, food is brilliant. The roasts are amongst the best you’ll get at a pub and our children love the chocolate brownie for pudding.
Really great time and very appreciative of them getting our group in before a special weekend. Thank you to the whole team and especially Archie who was excellent throughout!
We had a really amazing evening for a big family booking of 20. From pre-booking to end of evening, it was really seamless. The team made the evening - attentive, personable, fun and really made us feel like no ask was too much, even with a few demanding kids in tow! The food was nice, timely, and f
Very pleasant well mannered staff really good tasty food, lovely atmosphere, definitely returning soon.
We 'stumbled' on this place, via our Satnav, while waiting for a flight from Gatwick, so glad we did. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and competent staff and our meals were excellent. Highly recommended...
Wonderful place with a lovely beer garden. Food was great.
Friendly staff and nice food for reasonable price, we had a large party and did have to chase a meal and a dessert as seemed to have been forgotten but rectified quickly
Came for an afternoon tea with some friends including three vegetarians for my birthday. Food was wonderful, warm scones, beautiful little cakes, mini apple crumbles with whipped cream... Lovely sandwiches, fresh tea and coffee regularly topped up. Staff attentive, we left with what we couldn't eat!
Booked last minute for my birthday for 11 of us. Everything was amazing and the food as good as I remembered from years ago. Won't leave it so long until the next time
Great little local pub, nice atmosphere and good food/beverage selection!
Afternoon tea for my mum's 70th birthday. Table ready laid out & with balloons. Selection of sandwiches, really delicious scones and mini cakes. Service was spot on, with topped up tea, including green tea and peppermint which we requested. We ordered drinks after and had a really lovely afternoon
Nice pub, large carpark and in a quiet location. My first time to visit staff were very helpful and friendly. Reason for 4 stars is that I only that I didn’t eat here so couldn’t comment on the food. Would recommend apart from that
Good food and a nice garden, although you're best to book early as they tend to run out of some dishes towards the end of the evening
Wonderful staff. Made an adventure of an afternoon lunch. Sadly they were doing some work on the kitchens so the menu was limited but the service was excellent and made it a joy to be there. 5 stars on service alone.
Had a lovely time here today, the staff were so friendly and the food was perfect. The cost of living menu is such a good idea for both the pub themselves and for customers because I know for a fact I would never have even thought about going here in the first place if I hadn't heard of it. And a b
