Celebrated my Mums birthday here. Delicious food, couldn’t fault it, service was attentive and friendly. Great find this place and we will certainly recommend and return. Pie of the day is a must have!! As is the crumble and chocolate melt. We also love the fact this pub does not allow dogs.
Went to The Hopwood tonight for first time. Not disappointed. Friendly , helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Clearly popular. Nice selection of food and drink. Ham Hock very good, but go with a good appetite (see pic. )
Out on Canal boat for the day and moored up at Hopwood house for a meal. Had couple of pints of the Orchard Thieves cider which was nice and refershing and not too fizzy or dry. Had a table for 10 for afternoon lunch. All of the staff were engaging, arlttentive, polite and helpful. I went for the H

Food was delicious. 1 veggie and 1 meat eater. Shared the cauliflower wings. Lovely. Then surf and turf and veggie burger. All great. Good value too.
Picture don't do it justice but bostin' meal and atmosphere, and thanks for posting the 30% off they were useful!! The meal would of cost over £30 but cost £20 . Expensive menu BUT definitely worth it . Pub is lovely, on the outside and inside . Thank you for your hospitality ,
Arrived without booking and found a cosy table in the bar. The staff were super friendly and happily answered questions about the menu. Lovely atmosphere, music playing but of a volume that allowed my friend and I to chat. Best part is that dogs aren't allowed inside, so as I have an allergy to dog
Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and loads of parking.
For two courses and a drink each the prices are reasonable.
We'd have booked Christmas lunch but the venue isn't dog friendly.
Nice Sunday roast, good portion, nice variety of veg on the plate. Cheerful competent service. Large place but comfortable. We had a nice meal but it is easy to imagine it getting pretty loud on busy days. Plenty of free parking.
Came on a Saturday evening, we were fitted in even though the place was busy. Nice atmosphere, staff were very friendly especially Amy our waitress. Food was lovely and served quickly. We really enjoyed our visit and will be returning. Thank you
