Great Indian restaurant, all the more so for it being quite unexpected given the location! Food was all excellent and served very quickly by the friendly staff. Of course there's plenty of vegetarian options - at £6.95 for side portions and £12.50 for mains this initially seemed a bit pricey, but is definitely offset by it being BYO (there's a shop next door too).
Our table of six had a great meal and we'd definitely recommend it.
Great venue, clean, smart and has a nice ambience. Friendly staff, prompt and good service and of course great food. Went here with a school staff and outdoor instructor group of around twelve including young kids and teenagers. For me I had the obligatory Lamb Korma, pilau rice and peshwari nan bread. Came to £21. I didn't have a soft drink but nipped a few doors down the road to get a cold beer from an off licence and brought it back to the restaurant. This is their normal practice apparently as they don't have a liquor licence. Ohhhh the menu is superb too!
Fabulous food from starter to finish! The marinated lamb chops were divine with accompanying sauces that complimented each other perfectly. The Dall Gosht, Methi Gosht, and tandoori chicken were all full of flavour, along with the lemon cashew nut rice and fluffy peshwari naan.
Full control compliments to the cheff, polite and friendly staff, as well as the warm and welcoming atmosphere with tasteful decor.
Thank you!

Lovely restaurant and lovely food, all the usual Curry options and a chefs choice.
Friendly staff and ambience.
Bring your own alcohol, soft drinks and water available.
Highly recommended, looking forward to next visit.
Staying locally on holiday we popped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. Up front they advised us they are not licenced to sell alcohol. Not a problem there is a Spar next door. So beer in hand we picked from an extensive menu with old favourites and some unusual specials. The food was delicious, well cooked and wonderful flavours. Possibly one of the best Asian meals I have had in the UK. Will definitely go again if we are back in the area.
Excellent service, ladies first, remembered what we ordered, food was fresh and well presented, mango Lassi was great and drinks were chilled. If you drink alcohol bring your own drinks. Best curry we’ve had in a long time and good value for money too.
Food was fab, lively atmosphere, unfortunately the server was quite grumpy bordering on rude, we were a large party of 18 and asked for separate bills, he however didn't want to do so. However he did relent but as stated was quite grumpy / rude. Will visit again but maybe not in such a large group.
Amazing food. Really low price for 5 meals. Taking your own booze helps a lot. Hope is such a beautiful place to visit topped off with this Curry house it's been a brilliant night.
Totally delicious, kind and efficient service, and good soundtrack. Best to make a reservation if you can. We had palak daal, chana masala and a veg curry along with rice, naan, and samosas. The naan in particular was excellent, and the curries were some of the best I’ve had in the UK. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
My husband booked a table for my birthday, this year, we've waited 3 years to come back to the Curry Cabin and it was well worth the wait! , we took our own wine and and drinks with us or you can buy from the shop next door.
The staff are always polite and super helpful and the food is absolutely amazing!!
Will be back again soon
Entry 2 of our Peak District adventure. After a treacherous day hiking we treated ourselves to a Kashmiri feast!!
The Curry Cabin in Hope is an absolute BYO BANGER 💥 💥! Full of Christmas cheer and sparkling lights, we totally indulged with our order and loved every dish!!
We found the staff polite and friendly, the restaurant was busy and seemed to be a real favourite with locals!
Our fave things: The people next to us making their own cocktails at the table - and the Tarka Dhal side dish was superb!!
What an absolutely fabulous restaurant. Fantastic food + amazing service. I'm visiting from London, and can honestly say, it's the best Indian dining experience I've had for years! Thank you guys!

We ordered a take away which was delivered to the Castleton club site I can honestly say it was awesome x the meat was tender and the sauce was delightful very flavoursome and fresh not at all oily as some takeaways are well done to the curry cabin I would highly recommend it 🥰
Some of the most flavourful curries that we have ever had … delicious and unique selections. Excellent service. It’s easy to find the same menu in Indian restaurants - this restaurant was unique. It had selections we’d not seen anywhere. We highly recommend!
A traditional menu in a contemporary setting. The “Hope Valley Special” was very tasty overall despite the chicken being a little bland. Staff were courteous, addressing me as mate, pal, and sir 🤣
Can’t say anything bad about the food and the service. Staff was helpful and service was quick. Food was a delight.
In here now , food excellent ,couldnt fault it .
Staff very friendly.
Prices are average ,but good value for quality
