We took a friend of ours who has not been to the pub for many years and he was very impressed with both the meal and the staff, he did actually mention to the staff that his starter of prawn and lobster cocktail was ten times better than the a renowned expensive fish restaurant he had been to the previous day. He then thoroughly enjoyed the steak pie with nicely cooked vegetables. Whenever we have been the staff are helpful and very efficient and pleasant. We will be back very soon �
Friendly staff, beautiful, traditional English pub with log fires and a warm glow. Thoroughly recommend.
Had a lovely meal this evening, tasty quality food, often drive past but finally stopped and its was a really good tasty meal, lovely fire, attentive staff, very happy :)

Waiting time for food took a bit of time but every table was taken so to be expected. We bought drinks at the bar when ordering the food so no waiting time at all.
Hadn't realised dogs allowed so will definitely return with the pooch �

Fantastic welcome and service all the way, the food on the menu is amazing, can only say what a delightful restaurant to visit, from start to finish! We were served impeccably by Elena and Hollie, and super enjoyed the magic that manifested itself from the kitchen, namely the chef’s- Richard and Mandy! Thank you both for such wizardry! Thank you everyone!… we will be back for sure!!

Absolutely perfect! Roast dinners were perfect, meat cooked to perfection and even the vegetables were delicious.
Our waiter Shayne was funny and very attentive, especially with our young daughter.
The setting and atmosphere are perfect too!

We made a snap decision to visit The Lamb for the first time as my wife had recieved a gift voucher. Although it looked busy, they found us a table straight away. The atmosphere was typical homely country pub and the staff were friendly and efficient.
I ordered the chicken burger and my wife had sirloin steak. We both cleared our plates as it was absolutely delicious.
We will definitely return soon, voucher or not, it was very reasonable. And they have Harveys on tap, always a winner for me!
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Shayne was our waiter and was great.
The only tiny thing that perhaps you could improve on would be that the broccoli was a little tough. But it was still really tasty! So there’s very little you are able to improve on - as it’s all just wonderful :)
We visited for Mothers Day lunch today and were very impressed. The lady who served us, Fran, was very attentive, and despite being very busy, nothing was too much trouble! The food was prompt, hot, and very good portions. Everything we ordered was delicious!! We were a little worried as we have been to other places on previous mothers' days and been very disappointed, but the Lamb Inn definitely delivered! The flower pot dessert was fun and very tasty!
We booked online, which was quick and easy, for a meal for three. Upon arrival we had a friendly greeting from Kate and we were shown to our table. Kate looked after us very well and was friendly and attentive. We wanted a few things that were non-standard and these were quickly accommodated. The food was lovely and the overall experience very pleasant.
Booked for a Tuesday lunchtime during half term for a colleagues returement celebration. Pub allowed us to drop off cake and decorate table area with banner and balloons. They bought out the cake and even added a sparkler-nice touch. Meals were good portions.
The most beautiful restaurant with the best food ever! So many amazing options on the menu, the interior is just breathtaking, staff are so friendly and speedy and the food is just incredible. Would especially recommend the Brie bites!! Will deffo be returning
This was mine and my mums 2nd visit for a roast dinner, we love the food, ambience, staff and especially Shane, however my mums dinner was not very warm so Shane had it changed, unfortunately it was not any warmer for her and her potatoes were burnt and so were her carrots. We did point this out but mum was full up, as the portion is too large for her. I understand that the carrots were meant to be caramelized, but mine were not that colour.
Mum was offered a complimentary dessert, which she loved.
This will certainly not put us off returning or recommending to others, we just feel that the potatoes are a not really roast potatoes .
We never feel rushed and enjoy the relaxed and welcoming vibe.
Nice dog friendly pub with a big beer garden. The menu was a bit restricted, I think due to staff illness leaving then short staffed, even though I managed to find some nice food. The calamari starter was a good portion but possibly a little overcooked. The signature burger was amazing with a sweet maple pulled pork in there too. Portions were great and cost was around what I expected.
Service was a little slow due to being short staffed but not the end of the world.
The pub is dog friendly and supplies water bowls for them if needed.
