Great cafe right on the runway. Food, cakes and coffees were great and the staff were friendly. Great outdoor seating area. Dog friendly. Only reason I've marked as a four star was due to not being able to sit close to the window and watch the planes due to having a dog with us. Dogs can only sit in
It's best to visit Dunkeswell airfield on a sunny day or a bank holiday, tends to guarantee that something is happening. Be it skydiving. Aircraft, helicopters, mircolights flying. I once turned up last year and watched as 4 ladies took it turns to be wing walkers. Good food & drink, with plenty o
Visited for the first time on my motorcycle.Spacious comfy restaurant /bar. Really good coffee.Sat outside watching parachutists, planes and helicopters. Will be returning.
Great little cafe next to a small Airfield where you can watch the planes and see people parachuting. Good range of food including gluten free options, snacks, meals, childrens, puddings, cakes and hit drinks. Freindly staff with good prices. We'll worth a detour off the usual holiday routes.
Busy with a great aviation vibe. Observe parachuting and plane take off and landings, while enjoying a coffee.
Popped in for a spot of lunch. Kids thought it was ace. Got to see the planes out of the window, massive slices of cake and the adult food was great too.
We visited twice when we were staying locally, lovely place. Lots going on both days we went, kids loved it and the food was perfect. Great portions and lovely food.
Always a great service and good food as well as being able to watch idiots jumping out of planes
Visited today for the first time in a few years. It still has the same feel. We had a couple of burgers and this is where you lost a star on your rating. The presentation was sloppy. It was just thrown on the plate, grease drips on the plate from where the burger was made on the plate. The burg
We just had a coffee, which was quite expensive, at over £3 for a cup (no saucer). The only milk was full-fat, which was disappointing. The coffee itself tasted lovely and it was good to drink it overlooking the airfield.
Cake was lovely, big slice. Coffee was lush. Moderate price. Plenty of room to move around.
Early morning flight meant we were still in time for full English. Great meal but had to recheck "weight and balance " before return flight. Not really, just felt like it!!
Great food, they were willing to accommodate someone who is gluten intolerant. Fun to watch the parachutes
We held a private party here and it was brilliant! The staff were great, the food was wonderful and the band who the chef is a member off were absolutely fantastic!
Great little cafe next to a small airfield where you can watch lots of little planes taking off and see patachutists landing. My grandchildren absolutely love it x x
Great little cafe where you can watched planes take off, or grab a drink and bite to eat if you are in the area. Lovely decor, however it's a little pricy
Great cafe where you can sit and watch the skydivers, helicopters and planes! Good food, lovely service
