Took myself for a working lunch at Toast Cafe and Patisserie in Honiton today. Loved it! Loved the decor, loved the coffee, loved the food, loved the garden. Highly recommend it for brunch/lunch/tea and the home decor shop Cocoon next door is a gorgeous browse too.

Popped in for a late afternoon cuppa, sat in the secret garden and enjoyed, green tea, english breakfast tea, a mocha and a ginger beer. On a beautiful day, such a relaxing way to have a cuppa. We were visiting the area on holiday from scotland

As always, another great visit to Toast. We loved hearing about their ‘green’ efforts, including compostable take away cups, non-plastic straws and the oat milk options. We tried the Toast High Tea for the first time and loved it, we will be back soon!

Honiton has a good selection of cafes etc, and this is a gem - classy little independent place.

The menu is limited for breakfast items like missing granola and yogurt. Got avo on toast and eggs were overcooked as well. The staff are lovely and the setting is really pretty in the garden. I'd go back to try the food again for another review.

Looking for somewhere to have lunch, and found this hidden gem of a place, food was delicious very well presented and cooked in ample proportions (which seems not to be the case in many places these days) staff were brilliant, service with a smile. The decor and ambiance were very relaxing and welcoming. We will definitely be back when next in Honiton. Thank you.

A lovely cafe at the end of the bustling High Street. It's a cosy place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. The garden is lovely, quaint, cottage-like, surrounded by plants and birdsong. Truly a serene place when the sun is out. Great menu options, from a cuppa and cake, to a more filling lunch. The vegan options were a considered part of the menu (I felt spoilt for choice) as opposed to a token add on option. Great friendly service.

Thank you to everyone at Toast for accomadating our Baby Shower on Friday the 13th of October. The food was amazing (as usual). Such a fantastic vibe, happy staff and beautiful surroundings. I highly recommended Toast for any up and coming celebrations 🍾. We sat in the courtyard, it was raining 🌧 but we were completely covered, not coats required that day xxx

Popped in here for our lunch and were delighted to find they have a lovely garden out the back where we enjoyed an excellent and very reasonably priced chicken and bacon salad. Friendly service, lovely surroundings and great food. Thoroughly recommended.

Thursday morning for brunch. Busy and humming. Smiling staff. Excellent very hot coffee (so rare) and delicious brunch. Well done to you all. An excellent example of a really good independant cafe supported by the local community.
