After visiting a pub not too far away of which we felt like we was treated like we was not welcome, we decided to move on and stumbled across place. Immediately it was a lot more inviting and less like we didn’t belong there being out of towners. The beer was fairly priced and the lady behind the bar was approachable and friendly enough. Great job 👍 (Also the dog was not a problem)

Friendly local pub, pleasant atmosphere, good pool table, dart board and juke box. Regular karaoke nights are a laugh. I don't think they serve food. I've been going there for years, never had any trouble.

I was on a stop to Belfast from Split, Croatia and according to Gmap this bar was the one I chose based on the reviews. It was closed apparently but when I looked in Suzan the Landlady came out and we had a decent chat about the whole situation and out of the blue she offered me a beer there. I was taken aback as I travelled for 2 days already with 2 broken ribs and was exhausted..kindness goes a long way and I we'll be definitely back when we are crossing to Wales. 5 stars

I had just travelled 400 miles by bike and was early for my boat and it was late and everywhere was closed ,I noticed a bar close by and decided this will do , I entered and thought this is a local bar for local people. Nope I was totally wrong , this bar with these people you cannot buy this type of friendship,I was made welcome and chatted to as I was a regular, I was also offered cutlery when I enquired about food , yes go and buy some food bring it back and you're welcome to eat here . Then time came to go and near everyone said to have a good trip and handshakes from everywhere. At these days it's extremely hard to find this type of friendship, yes five stars for a welcome surprise. I will make another trip just to call in again.

Great wee pub ,nice locals, pool table ,wifi and recently refurbished with a lovely beer garden out back . They have various nights like bingo and draws to raise money for local charities including the rnli. I Wouldn't go anywhere else but here . They dont do food as such but have freshly made filled rolls/baps if your peckish
