Delicious locally sourced food and coffee. Highly recommend the Bamburgh banger and spicy tomato toasties! Lovely family run business with very friendly staff and fast service. Don't forget to pop into the attached takeaway shop for ice creams!
Possibly the best value breakfast on the Northumberland coast. Using good quality local produce, our breakfast was both very tasty and served quickly by friendly staff. The smoked bacon was delicious, as was the sausage and all the other items. Washed down with a nice pot of strong tea, it was a goo
Came across this amazing cafe on our way to the car park. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly and attentive. We had two excellent cappuccinos and a slab of home baked lemon and coconut cake. I would highly recommend this cafe for all the above.
Stopped here after doing to loop walk around the island. After a few hours of walking, it's a great place to stop and refresh. It's not cheap (but no where is nowadays).
The food is good quality. My husband had the crab 🦀 sandwich (he said it was great, tasted really fresh), and I had the bacon,
Arrived from my pilgrimage hungry. Food is first class lovely grub apart from sausage roll which was mediocre at best but went down my dads hatchet. Food delicious and service spectacular. Hard working people who do their best for tourists. Very organised and good system for ordering which resulted
Having only previously visited on a day when we could use the outdoor area it was great to find that there is a dog friendly room inside the cafe. We both had the Holy Island full breakfast, and full we certainly were afterwards. The component parts were excellent, especially the bacon and sausage -
We dropped in for a early morning coffee on the 12th April 22 and we were “not”disappointed it’s location is good as is it’s accessibility with lots of outdoor seating including a underneath open sided shelter
Inside is clean with lots of bench and table seating.
We did not eat on this occasion.. b
I contacted a cafe before my visit and asked if I could reserve a table and explained that I was bringing mymother-in-law who is 99. I told them that I had chosen it because it was close to the car park and they served crab which she loves.
When we arrived, there were signs up in the cafe saying no
We saw a major incident. The lovely waitress was taking two plates of food to a table and the dog at the table wrapped its lead around the legs of the lady and tripped the lady she fell to the floor and the plates went too. What drama! We hope she is ok and recovering
Had lunch at this cafe and food was delicious! Had toasted sandwich each and chips . All fresh hot and very tasty . Quick service and clean lovely side salad with toasties. Happy full customer. Thankyou
Fantastic visit to 1st Class Food. Would not go anywhere else.
Such lovely homemade produce and an extensive range of options for gluten free or dietary requirements. They would even go the extra mile if you tell them something you can not eat. They did for my husband, making sure there was no dairy
Amazing value for money veggie breakfast, loads of toast and butter and a bonus extra sausage!
Highly recommend coming across for breakfast and then a walk
Really enjoyed the food here, had the Pastrami sandwich and the soup of the day. Was absolutely delicious, photo after I had inhaled the first half 😁
1st class food and service. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Food excellent value and plentiful
Good Gluten Free baking and many other options. The crayfish jacket potato was excellent. Onion soup and cheese scone were also enjoyed by our party.
