Amazing evening last night celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary, food was amazing, drinks were flowing and we all danced the night away. I cannot recommend this place enough, the staff were extremely professional & hard working making sure we had an evening never to forget. Thankyou so much for everything ��
We visited the Royal Oak yesterday and had the best fish and chips ever ! The service was excellent, the food hot and fresh, could not complain at all about both.
The new restaurant and menu are outstanding. The ambiance was perfect and the menu pricing not exaggerated. We will definitely return.
Blooming marvellous, staff were very warm and welcoming and made for a great experience. The food and drink was timely, delicious and great value. Atmosphere was great and the room felt very light.

We had our main meal (burgers) from the specials. Very tasty and filling. Beautiful hanging desserts too. We'll definitely return soon. Thank you for such a lovely service x
We were seated in the bar which was a bit noisy due to the sport although it wasn't a problem for me. The service although a bit slow was fine, there was only one lady on her own serving the tables (allowed for our main course to go down before we ordered desserts). Our party had beef Stroganoff, steak and ale pie and the trio of sausages. Although the sausages were fine (I ended up with one) my son didn't like them as they were Lincolnshire style sausages so too strong in flavour for him and maybe if it had indicated on the menu that they were Lincolnshire he would not have chosen this dish. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding and the hanging oak dessert (like a kebab skewer with marshmallows, fudge pieces, waffle pieces, cookie dough and brownie pieces). This was REALLY nice. Not a cheap place to eat, probably would go again but might try to get seated in the restaurant part next time. Plenty of parking available.
The service was excellent. Food was brought out piping hot and the price was very reasonable. The staff were all very friendly too. Will definitely be coming back here and would 100% recommend this place to others.

Food always really good staff always accommodating and welcoming, lovely atmosphere I’ve done a large birthday group/ Christmas/ small groups and as a couple it accommodates for all.
Fantastic service from the second of arrival. Food was obviously freshly made. Time was given between each course. We were in the sport Bart so was expecting the worse but the large TV's were on but volume was off. Light music playing in background but could still hold conversation.
Food was to die for no complaints at all.
Would highly recommend.

We liked the variety of food available and the way it was presented. In good weather one can dine inside or out. Don't know what the outside kitchen unit is like.

We often visit the pub for a meal, it is very good well worth a visit. The staff are very pleasant and the food appetising and more than sufficient.
We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was a bit pricey for us; had one drink because the football was on, but the people there were friendly.
Try the Sunday lunch. I was very impressed. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice atmosphere and happy with the drinks on offer.
