Driving past today and stopped as was hungry! -- What an excellent on the spot decision. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good choice (and very reasonably priced) . Will definatly return if I pass this way again. Would highly recommend
Stopped off here for Sunday lunch today. Well what a fantastic pub this is. Friendly staff, fantastic riverside garden, beautifully decorated and the food looked and tasted superb. The only down side and I’m being really picky here was the portion control, far too much meat I had to tell the lady to stop lol
We will be returning for sure.

I wish I could give a million stars. Our wedding day was beyond perfect. An absolutely lovely team of people and Sue is beyond outstanding. I actually find it hard to put into words how grateful I am and how perfect our day was.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Great that our guests had a choice and every single course was sublime. I, of course, sampled my husband’s food too so I can confidently say the food was consistently excellent.
Our master of ceremonies was wonderful and really made sure the day ran smoothly.
The DJ arranged by the venue was unbelievable! Damian catered to my every request and was such a nice guy. Everyone agreed he was brilliant.
Sue was so calm and organised it actually made me feel calmer. She is an amazing lady.
Every aspect of the day was perfect down to the last detail. I honestly can’t fault it, can’t think of a single thing that could have been done better.
So many people told us and our parents that it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
So much love for everyone involved, especially Sue for all your hard work. I am so bowled over by everything and can’t recommend this place enough for a wedding. Huge thanks to you all, with love from Mr & Mrs de-la-Hay xxxxx

Went there Saturday 19th May with my wife and her Mom and Dad. Had a excellent meal and the beer was also very good. After our meal went and sat by the river enjoying another liquid refreshment. Sun was shining Paradise.
My husband and I got married at The Holt Fleet last weekend and are still trying to find the words to do it justice! It was perfect. From the moment we booked Sue was absolutely fantastic - so laid back, helpful and accommodating with anything it was that we wanted to do. The staff on the day were attentive and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. We had so many lovely comments about the venue and how good (and plentiful) the food was! We would recommend The Holt Fleet to anybody thinking about booking a wedding. Massive thank you to Sue and her amazing team for hosting the best day of our lives!! You guys are awesome �

Excellent wedding venue. Excellent homemade food. Excellent service from the staff, Ample parking, Lovely scenery down by the river. Had our sons wedding there yesterday.. what a fantastic day.. Thank you all involved
Beautiful pub in a beautiful location serving beautiful food. Friendly staff, who are there but not there if you know what I mean. There but not in your face. Beautiful pods on a beautiful river available for hire, good size car park. Nice big bar area, clean toilets and great menu.
We felt a bit catfished by this place, we travelled over an hour as the photos online made it look prettier than it was so we were a bit disappointed.
However, the staff were brilliant! They were so polite, attentive and cheerful. The food was great, for £8 the portion was huge.

Food portions looked big but I wasn't enticed to eat.
This is the 2nd time we have been in recent weeks. The food and service were excellent on both occasions.
The first time we visited, there was a wedding, but the service was still spot on. The first visit we had, gammon and the cannelloni portions we're superb, the side salad was of a good size.
The desert menu was excellent and was thoroughly enjoyed.
The second time was for Sunday lunch. The meat was excellent quality and a good size portion. The seasonal vegetables were cooked to perfection with plenty of them for four people. Unfortunately, we were too full to attempt the desert menu on this occasion.
We will be visiting again, and next time, we will try the riverside pods.

First off, if you are looking here for reviews because you are considering The Holt Fleet for your wedding venue, stop considering and book, you will not be disappointed!!
We got married here recently and cannot express how amazing the experience was.
Firstly , our wedding coordinator was a dream! Alice was amazing through the whole process and just made everything so easy.
The day it’s self was a wash out, but we didn’t even notice.
The venue made our day look amazing, feel intentionally not outside and nothing was too much trouble.
I was able to visit the day before and add any touches like the favours etc and make any changes with Alice.
The venue staff were so sweet, Alice was there to make sure everything ran smoothly and if it didn’t , I still don’t know about it. Thank you all so so much for making the day so AMAZING!
The food was delicious, seriously, wedding food can be hit and miss and we were thinking the wedding package is too good to be true so the food will be ‘okay’, but my were we wrong, people were raving about the food and are still talking about it days later.
It was served hot, it was served well and it was delicious !!
The toast master was the sweetest included in the package, he was lovely to everyone, spent time talking to guests and kept everything on track.Thank you.
The wedding package the holt fleet offer really seems too good to be true, but the quality of everything is so amazing. It also includes a DJ. We were lucky enough to have James.
James was EPIC! He had a couple of pre calls with us and we asked for music that he doesn’t normally play (or has heard of in some cases), yet we have a list of loads of music and boy did he deliver! He mixed songs into each other seamlessly, he read the crowd and the dance-floor was the place to be. He was a really great DJ, excellent vibe and so easy to work with! Thanks James.
I could go on and on about this place, but honestly, if you are looking for a wedding that’s intimate, in a gorgeous setting , with a beautiful garden (when it’s not pouring down), a lovely river view, a balcony and a great indoor space to celebrate with those near and dear then look no further.
It’s worth so much more then they charge and the service is out of this world.

We dropped by on the off chance they had a table free and they were very accommodating, all the staff are very friendly and conscientious. We had the 12 chicken wings sharer, the fish and chips and the scampi. The portions were really generous and the food was lovely and hot, delicious and well presented. The bill was £65 with 2 J20s and a pint of beer. We felt it was good value. We didn't get Sunday lunches, but saw quite a few leaving the kitchen and they looked fabulous!
My 2 best friends got married on Saturday 24th September. It was the most amazing day, the team were perfect, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great! The whole experience was 1st class. Would highly recommend this venue.
A lovely pub/restaurant on the River Severn with great views across the river and nearby bridge. Very good bar menu for lunch food seating and plenty of parking. Attentive staff and good overall service. Recommended for lunch (I've not had an evening meal)
Great location and setting great food and choices lovely cocktails and very nice staff members would definitely recommend first time attending today but will be back again and recommending
A special thanks for Grace who treated myself and friend to a exceptional service. We asked for a sharer of pizza and I had a lovely seafood linguine with a San Miguel in the sunshine. Fabulous. Please visit.
