A fantastic variety of meals with some very individual house specialities. They focus on flavour as opposed to heat, but If you're interested in a bit of spice, they are more than happy to touch it up for a more intense experience. 10% off takeaways equals a perfect escape from the cooker.

We arrived with the best of intentions, having a pint of kingfisher, pappadums and raita. The raita was not traditional white, but was delightful. So too the other accompaniments. But our 2yo unfortunately fell asleep before dishes arrived. Staff were most obliging in bundling everything up to take home instead. So off we trot. The chicken korma was utterly delicious, so too the paneer shashlick. The peshwari naan a little different to that which I've had before, but still very tasty. Thanks guys for being so understanding. We'll be back.

The food I ordered was the best takeout I’ve had in many years. Bloody great, full of flavour. Their Jalfrezi was brilliant. Service was brilliant. I can’t comment on the atmosphere as I didn’t sit in for the meal but it looked clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you are in Holt.

Friendly welcome and seated straight away early evening. Wine options reasonably priced by the glass or bottle and great quality. Good poppadoms and chutney tray, onion, tomato and fresh coriander dish the freshest and finest I've ever tried. Moved straight to mains. We tweaked one of the dishes in two ways, noted carefully by the waiter and exactly as we wanted. Great mains, not too much chilli heat, all nicely spiced flavour. So great food, wines and service, must be one of the best meals in town.

Had take out. Manager was most helpful and very chatty. Prices typical for the area I suppose, about average. Food wise, cannot complain. Not the best we have ever had but FAR from the worst. It was tasty, good portions, more that adequate although Nan was a wee bit small. Can’t comment on atmosphere as we were ‘early doors’ and nobody else was in. Can recommend without reservation.👍

Amazing indian food, probably the best I've tried in Norfolk so far. The staff is amazingly friendly, very caring and polite. Overall a great experience, we were stuffed and took the rest home. We'll be coming again!

Firstly, the food was to a high standard. The starters were very flavourful and the mains were excellent, especially the naan bread. Well done to the chef. The front of house staff let the place down. I have never been in a restaurant were the staff conversations drowned out our own discussions. Take aways piled up on a hot plate next to the head of someone sat at a table and the soft drinks a rip off. In summary excellent food but not the best experience, would only use as a takeaway.

Food is amazing here and is consistent ☺️ Sadly just looks a little run down and needs some renovating ( leather seating scruffy and table top glass cracked ) and desperate for new carpet or a hoover 🤷

My husband and I had a fantastic meal at the Taste of India last week, while visiting the area. The menu is quite varied and has some different things on it that we hadn't come across before. Both our choices were really tasty and they serve a particularly good peshwari naan! The srevice was good too - professional and friendly.
