A surprise meal out tonight with my eldest. Food was absolutely excellent. The fillet steak with featherblade and mushroom and truffle risotto was perfect. Love the whole vibe of the place, the staff were excellent and only 5 minutes from home! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and looking forward to coming back!

Amazing. From start to finish. We can not fault this wonderful gem of a restaurant in North Norfolk. And right on our doorstep as well, lucky us. From the moment we book right through until we pay the bill. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding. We can not recommend this warm, friendly place enough.

Amazing food and always a warm welcome from friendly helpful staff. The owners are always around working and very welcoming too. Dogs welcome in the bar where you can get wonderful food too. Highly recommend you pay a visit.
I emailed ahead to ask about my dietary requirements I'm dairy/soya/egg free as I wanted to know if this was something they'd cater for. They said they could some booked the table for our anniversary meal. I expected to turn up and have an option I could have as this is the case when I eat out normally. However they had gone above and beyond and printed me my own menu which was completely free from anything I couldn't have. I was very impressed, this is the first place I've eaten in the past 6 months of being free from where I've had options PLUS it tasted fantastic. Thankyou so much. We will definetly be back again and again

Andrew Pointen, Alex Birks and I had a brilliant dinner tonight - Andrew said Ben had 'absolutely nailed' his Shoulder of Pork, Alex said it was the best Liver he'd tasted and my Roast Sirloin was excellent, so tender and full of flavour. And such large portions! Great to be able to thank Ben in person. We'd recommend anyone who likes their Sunday Roast to visit the Bell in Hunworth!!!

Lovely building and really warm with the log burner going. Food very good - certainly up to expectations being fans of The Duck. Tried the Restaurant Week menu. Too full to have desserts though. Service excellent. Will go back but it is over an hour from home so not exactly local.
What a fabulous pub. The Sunday lunch was incredibly good. Far too many interesting things on the menu, which made it very hard to choose what to have. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic and there was a great atmosphere. Really dog friendly too. If only more pubs were like this. Very highly recommended

We went here with family on 15/2/24 to celebrate an anniversary. The food and service was lovely. Restaurant was clean and nice atmosphere..
It was super that the vegetables were added as part of the main meal ordered and not something we had to order separately which has been the case at other places we have visited .
Lovely food ! The vegetable portions were exactly as we would have at home and not over or undercooked cooked , perfect !!

Beautiful food as ever, went as a party of 6, service was great as was the food. Oh do try a pudding you won't be disappointed!!! The veg is separate and very nice indeed not your microwave afterthought!

We were on holiday in the area and celebrating my girlfriends 40th birthday. The Hunworth Bell was recommended to us as a lovely location to eat at. Unfortunately their website was down when I was trying to look at what it was like and also to see their menu. I emailed them to ask about their menu, Sarah was quick to reply and was kind enough to email me copies. Their menu looked delicious with a good variety of vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options. We decided to eat here, 9 of us, inc baby, buggy and dog, Sarah fitted us into the bar area (where dogs are allowed). Sarah also facilitated me dropping off Birthday decorations before our reservation time. We were sat down and it felt really cosy, nicely lit, log burner on and there was a lovey atmosphere. We placed our drinks and food order, all came out promptly, was well presented, hot and tasted amazing. Albeit we were told it was a 2hr sitting (I surmise because its a busy Saturday night) we weren't at all rushed in anyway. To top it off the restaurant brought us out a nice little surprise at the end for my girlfriend and we all sang Happy Birthday (I hadn't forgotten to get her a cake, we had that Sunday, didn't want to miss the lovely desserts here.) Would highly recommend The Hunworth Bell, amazing food, very friendly staff, superb service.
What a lovely pub, just moved to the area so first visit. Friendly, welcoming staff and the food was delicious. Don't skip dessert, they were so good!
Excellent restaurant, more than a cut above the rest in this area. Somewhat off the beaten track so you'll need a sat nav but well worth the effort. Imaginative menu and large portions. We had a huge goats cheese and beetroot salad and soused mackerel to start and excellent haddock and chips and chicken stuffed with black pudding for mains. Very attentive service and nice setting. Highly recommended
