Morston Hall Restaurant - Holt - Photo album

Took the plunge on a tasting menu (not our favourite style) based on this being Galtons' place...needn't have worried. All of the dishes were fantastic, and overall experience couldn't have been better. This is how a restaurant should be..could not recommend enough
Our latest visit was on New Years Eve for lunch and as always it was a wonderful experience. Food staff and surroundings all fabulous, it is our absolute favourite place to stay and eat. Rooms are all comfortable and clean and beautifully appointed. Food always worthy of the Michelin star, not sure
A wonderful birthday meal, the experience was memorable. Each course was delicious, a favourite was the Halibut. The staff were really lovely, very attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
It’s not often we get chance to go to a nice restaurant and hotel but boy did this one tick the boxes. The staff couldn’t do enough to help out, talk through the food and various ingredient links and decisions, the dining was literally and actually Michelin * quality. The mixologist and sommelier, i
We went here to celebrate my birthday and tried their tasting lunch menu. What can we say? That just it's one of the best tasting menus we've ever had. You can understand why they have a Michekin star. Everything -- every course they put out -- was nothing short of amazing. They also take time to ex
Always a very special experience. It’s obvious why Morston Hall has retained its Michelin star for 25 years. Congratulations Galton and team.
From the moment we arrived to when we left the whole experience was amazing. The food, service, ambiance was fantastic. Highly recommend. We will definitely be going back.
The food was amazing! I also loved hearing the hundreds of geese in the neighbouring area. Very convenient for seal trips as it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Morston Quay.
Stayed for a night in the small double which was very nice, clean and well equipped. A soft bed. Had dinner in the Michelin restaurant with the wine flight, again all very good. The Sommelier made some excellent choices to go with the already great food. The breakfast the next morning was also ve
We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was delightful. Our own private patio, lounge area and wonderful luxury bathroom with a wet room shower and TV! The 7 course tasting menu was superb and breakfast in the morning perfect.
Had a lovely dinner whilst on holiday in Norfolk. Food was fantastic, especially the Tempura Halibut. Wine pairing with dinner was very good. The whole team was welcoming and attentive. Thank you 👍
One night stay. Michelin-starred restaurant-with-rooms. We stayed in one of their spacious garden pavilion suites. Which have a lounge area and patio. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bath with a TV. Almost all rooms are pet-friendly. As it was such a glorious, sunny afternoon, we took a sh
Great meal, expensive for what you get. We did the taster Menu with Wine pairing. Service was good but slow. Staff were very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable. Be prepared for a long evening, we arrived at 5.30pm, canapés at 6pm and didn't leave till 10.10pm.
Dinner was excellent (high quality tasting menu and attentive service). Our bedroom was very ordinary and quite noisy (especially with window open thanks to the sound of a boiler or similar outside). Breakfast was OK but service at breakfast was poor. Overall it was expensive (£630 for 2 inc drinks)
Galton and the team put on a stunning set menu and brilliant breakfast. Room was perfect for a one night stay and had everything we needed, even a bath with jacuzzi-style jets. Great location near the north Norfolk coast.
We had a lovely dinner at Morston Hall. General vibe was relaxed refinement and I thought the food and front of house combined to execute this mood perfectly. It was nice to see the Head Chef talking to all the tables and clearly demonstrated great passion for his food. I felt the tasting menu wa
Wonderful afternoon tea, in a truly beautiful setting, we had a wonderful gentleman (Tudor) look after us, and he was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious too. Great service, great food, great view
Morston Hall, is a great place to have a special celebration, although it could improve. On arrival, it was dark, and there is no lighting for the footpath and a very small sign that was not visible. On arrival we had a choice of striaght to the table or sit in lounge. We choose lounge, they only br
