We were looking for a place for lunch in or near Holsworthy. None of the places in town grabbed us. Then I spotted this farm shop/cafe on Google maps and it look good. My o my we were NOT disappointed. Lovely friendly couple who run it and work hard to give great service and meals. Not a big menu but several SA items..my wife had Boboti (probable havent spelt it right) She said it really tasty esp the peach spicy sauce.I had the Breakfast. The bacon and sausages were the best I have tasted for a long time. I cant remember when I had some this good. The ice cream is very local and again delicious. As good as the best Cornish ice cream! Its one of those places that makes you want to come back to this area for our next holiday. Thank you for making our day so enjoyable.

A fully deserved 5 stars for the amazing pizza, sauce, cakes and service at the Pizza Night yesterday. My toppings were biltong, artichoke and tuna. Very happy to see liberal amounts of each topping on the 12" pizza - all of which were delicious, particularly the crispy dried biltong which I'd never had before. The base was very crispy and the crust rock solid so I left the crust, however I think this might be because I arrived 5-10 minutes after my ETA. Hence, it might be better to order it fresh there and then, even if there is a wait. I will happily eat a crunchy base, though, so I was not concerned. I asked for some dips and received two little pots of sauces which I think the Farm Shop make on site - a peach chutney and hot chilli sauce. Both were incredible and highly recommend buying them in jars. They went very well with the pizza and the quantity was just right. There was no cost for these. There were a selection of 3 cakes from which to make a very difficult choice. Alternatively, you can buy multiple, as I did, getting one Chocolate Fudge and one Apple Marange. I enjoyed the latter (very appley, light and fluffy base, perhaps consider dusting with cinnamon powder) and have yet to try the former. Finally, a very welcoming service even at 7pm when I arrived, which was 30 minutes before it closed. Very cosy timber-framed seating area inside. Pizza & Can: £10 Cake x 2: £6

After a lovely walk in the local woods we come here for some lunch. A great place with a real cool, rustic and relaxed feel. Don't be fooled by this little place, it's a hidden gem, and the owners personally is huge. A great father and daughter team. We both had the South African Burger, a very very tasty burger with cheese, pickles, red onion chutney and salad, it also came with great skin on fries and redslaw and made a good change to the norm. We also had coffees, teas, drinks and Apple Meringue pie. Thank you for a great lunch and keeping us entertained. A great experience and great food. Wish you all the best.
