Bridge Inn - Holmrook - Photo album

Excellent hotel. Comfortable beds and very good food. 3 stars for the room as I was in a single and it was like a box, despite paying more than half the double room price. Single supplements are a pain but that is not the hotel's fault. I would recommend The Bridge any day.
Lovely food, great chips. Showed football and does Sunday Roasts. Had burger and chips, husband had fish and chips. Friendly service. Did not stay in the hotel so can't comment.
The stay was okay, nice room, nothing special, it would have been better if there was more staff throughout the day to help serve customers as it seemed there was a lack of staff. The breakfast staff were brilliant and very catering. The main lady who checked us in which I assume is the owner seemed
Found this little gem more by luck. Popped in for a quick bite. Was not disappointed. Food was excellent service, not as good as the food but still worth the visit.. Vista to die for on the river with the lakes in the distance if I'm ever in the area again will definitely return
Great little inn. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean with tea coffee t.v walk in shower food was lovely and big portions too dog friendly and just a really nice vibe there would visit again
Fantastic place at the heart of Lake district . Staff were very polite and helpful. Food was very tasty and stylish. My steak was 10/10. Hotel located very close to Irton Pike where walk paths start to majority of pikes. Great place also for cold water plunge adjacent to the nearest bridge. There is
Tastefully decorated, modern pub, which still has a classic inn charm. The food was tasty and the atmosphere good. The bar service was slow, but good beer when you got it.
Very nice food, and a very cosy pub/restaurant. They have real fires down, and welcome dogs and muddy-booted hikers. That doesn't take away from the cleanliness and tidiness of the whole place. The bar itself was impeccable.
Clean well appointed rooms, service from all the staff was exceptional, very nice warm welcome. Food was very good
We did not stay at the Hotel, but it looked lovey. We stopped for some dinner. Food was fantastic, Good portions, a pity that the staff was not so friendly.
We visited as part of Brit stops. The car park opposite is not all flat but we found a decent spot and had a good night there. The food in the hotel was great. I loved my steak pie with fresh vegetables. The drinks were expensive pushing our bill up but I understand the need to cover costs these day
Visited a couple of times while staying on nearby campsite. Traditional English (none themed) pub with nice food & atmosphere. Good selection of beers. My wife did comment that the various house wines were poor, which did put us off going again (Should be alright if your buying your own bottle). It
Attention to detail at every level. The staff are great, the food is good (although a bit expensive), the rooms are comfy and clean.
This pub has a superb location, nestled right next to walking trails, lakes and some rather picturesque passes. Furthermore, it has amazing food with reasonable prices. This has become one of the highlights of Lake District trip! Will definitely come again
We had a great bed and breakfast stay at the Bridge Inn in the Lakes a few weeks ago. The location is ideal for exploring the West side of the Lake District with plenty of walks to nearby lakes and cafes (it’s also not too far from the coast). The rooms are small but a good base. They were incredib
Great pub, great location. Real ales. Lovely staff. Food was spot on. Burger chips and salad but have to say, although the burger and chips were delicious, the salad was outstanding. Not just an add on to be left on the plate. Chefs attention to detail is to be commended.
