We usually come for sandwiches and cakes and it's second to none here! We've just had catering for a service last night, it's such good quality tasty food and they put on a lovely variety for the spread everyone was commenting on how well we did finding them for catering and asking for their details

Loads of choice, hot or cold, phone ahead and pick it up in five minutes, or call in to look at the cold display of sandwich fillings, pies, sausage rolls and cakes. Used to stop here everyday on my way to and from school; I remember then mostly for their lovely coffee and sandwiches, which are also reasonably priced. Whether it's something hot or cold you're after, they have everything. Can't fault this place. I'd highly recommend a good dinner here.

Above and beyond service today. Returning home from hospital with my new born daughter, Wife and Grandma, Grandma popped in to get a couple of sandwiches and scotch eggs. Alex & Rachel did an afternoon tea party for my birthday this month and it was superb! Open sandwiches, fantastic selection of cakes,fresh scones with jam & cream all homemade plus tea and coffee all served with a smile!!

Great selection, great quality food, my only criticism if anything is the shop is a little small so any more than a few customers waiting and it's a little snug but the food and friendly staff more than make up for that

I've never had anything but great food from Alexanders. I have to say the sausages and onion gravy in a giant Yorkshire Pudd is amazing. Lovely people there too.
