Really really like this place!! The best Italian in the area. We come from Penistone to visit at least once a month. Love the vibe, the food and the cocktails. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Recommend!

Relaxed atmosphere, top food, good craft beer. Accommodated an off menu request. Friendly staff. A wider vegetarian (non-pizza) choice wouldn’t go amiss but didn’t go hungry :-)

Just wanted to say we had a great lunch here yesterday. We've come to Devour for lots of special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries etc), and decided to bring our new baby son for his first meal out. The staff were super accommodating, the food was delicious as always, and we can't wait to come back!

What a special place this is.....the bar, the restaurant, and the outside areas are all top quality. The thought, knowledge, and work that has gone into making this an extremely pleasant environment in which to eat are very evident. The staff are all very polite, very helpful, and very happy - this all adds to the general "feelgood" atmosphere you experience the moment you walk in. The main event of course is the food, and that was second to none - quite simply some of the best Italian/Mediterranean style food we've ever had, prepared and delivered without fault. Top notch!

The food was good. Not too keen on how the vegetables were served, all mixed together. I also thought that there was far too much salt added to the food. The meat, roast and mash was delicious and plenty of it. I couldn't fault the service. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. I was with a group of 19, so the atmosphere was good. I've been told it's an expensive restaurant. I don't know, as I didn't pay. I would go again in a group.

First class Easter Monday lunch for four of us. Young professional waitresses. Clearly trained and motivated. Original takes on classic dishes and an excellent wine list. Thoroughly enjoyed it back soon.

Not sure how we have only just found Devour after living here for over 2 years. From start to finish the service was amazing. The little touch of a card on the table for our anniversary was 10/10. The setting for the restaurant is lovely with a great ambiance. The food portions are really good and full of taste and excellently presented. The sharing board as a starter was lovely and gave a great variety of things to try. In terms of cost, you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny. We will definitely be going back.

I have now been to Devour twice in the past couple of months and both times I have been really impressed by the service and the outstanding quality of food. There is a great range of small plates that are perfect for sharing and the pasta is really well made. The menu doesn't have your "typical" italian dishes - on my first visit I had the duck pappardelle which was so tasty. On my most recent visit, the menu had changed slightly and I had the belly pork gnocchi which was fantastic. I don't often order pork belly as I find some restaurants don't cook it well, but it was the best I have ever tasted. If you love crackling then this is a winner. I'm not a pudding person normally but I shared the lemon posset which was divine. The ambience and setting of Devour is also really cool. Can't recommend enough (clearly!)

Amazing meal and some really interesting vegetarian options. Really nice staff. While it's not the cheapest it's well worth it for a treat or celebratory occasion. The whipped goats cheese and beetroot ripple starter and mushroom gnocchi main course with crispy potato squares side dish were to die for.

Gorgeous views from the Riverside garden, the perfect place to visit on a sunny day. Fabulous food (we had pizza and ice cream), drinks (decent beer and nice cocktails), atmosphere and service.

Excellent service, superb food with a decent choice of starters, mains, desserts. Very well presented. Champagne was a bit pricey tho. Lovely location. I would highly recommend a visit.

Great experience, from parking, to coffee! Dishes are sophisticated, yet very easy to pair with each other. Definitely recommended! They also roast their own italian blend of coffee beans. Never had anything like that, got a bag to bring home with me!!!

Beautiful place, great service & friendly staff. Food was quite expensive for what you got as the portions were small however what you did get was lovely. The pizzas looked amazing and we will definitely be back to try those.
