A real gem of a place. The best breakfast, lunch or snack you will have. Great staff and wonderful food.
Stumbled across the his place on a cold a miserable day and it definitely brought the sunshine out! Wow gluten free options, amazing food, amazing service, amazing coffee! Shame it wasn’t on my door step or I would be there every day!!
Such a lovely little place. Went with my mum - menu is very simple but everything was well thought through and well presented. Just the place Holmfirth needs �
Stopped here today for well deserved cake after tackling Holme Moss on the bikes. Group of 5 of us in cycle kit with bikes in tow didn't phase staff and we were able to bring our bikes onto the outdoor seating area, within view of our table inside

Just returned after having breakfast, it was too die for � Nothing's too much trouble and the staff are really friendly. I already cannot wait to go back!x
Excellent customer service, nice & friendly, lovely food. Really small but they make the most of the available space. Small menu but a fab one :-). I will be returning :-)
Travelled here today as met the lovely owner and her Mum in Uppermill and it was definitely worth the drive. The food and coffee was delicious and such a lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be returning xx
This place is amazing!! Every single time been I’ve loved it more and more. Worked my way around the menu and each one is incredibly delicious!
Always a warm welcome from Meg and her staff. Gorgeous food, always adding and trying new things on the menu. Lovely selection of hot and cold drinks. Love the little touches like the few pieces of popcorn on your saucer. We love to spend part of our Sunday eating here. Nice to have brunch here then have a stroll round the lovely Holmfirth. Well done all of you at Bloc hope it continues to be successful.
Enjoyed my quick breakfast stop this morning, tasty sausage & egg on toast served by the very friendly staff. Cheers :thumbsup:

Very cool modern vibe with a simple menu based around different ingredients on toast �. We had a delicious coffee � to go along with our meal that filled us up nicely. The locally sourced sausage was tasty and the service was excellent, providing good local knowledge and a friendly welcoming environment. Definitely will be visiting again � �

Delicious food with loads of brunch choices, you are spoilt for choice. French Toast was huge and really different, coffee was delicious. Lovely outdoor seating area, friendly staff, would definitely return!
Went with a friend in June 2023. Staff welcoming as we entered, was a busy Saturday but managed to find a table - seats inside/out (mostly covered in case of rain outside). Menu small (often a good sign in my opinion) but plenty we could pick from. Three cheese on sourdough toast was delicious! Coffee nicely done as well. Staff friendly and chatty. My only slight dig was that I couldn’t find a menu online to look at beforehand. Would definitely return again next time I’m in Holmfirth.
Best tasting coffee we've ever had! Flat white, asked for the little pot of hot milk as one of the coffees was abit low, was charged extra £1 for this! Never been charged for milk here when needed, is this new now?
Food always very good and sourdough used is the best.
Visited for a coffee on a rainy morning and it was surprisingly busy. I ordered a flat white which was made absolutely perfectly and was a delicious coffee. Prices are good and food looks good. Staff are friendly too.

Such a cute place, so cosy yet bright and airy. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the tiffin I had was delicious. Most importantly the coffee (decaf latte) was the perfect strength, temperature (not too hot) and thickness (not too thick or thin), soooo tasty. Didn't order other food but the French toast/beans on toast/eggs & avocado on toast looked insane. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
Great food, good coffee and fantastic staff. Dogs are welcome in their outdoor seating area. There are heaters outside, but Bloc also provide blankets too. Genuinely cannot fault them.
Really tasty bunch and coffee. The French toast and avocado toast were both delicious. Really generous portions and great coffee from the roaster over the river.
