The Old Red Lion - Holmes Chapel - Photo album

Great tasty good. Third time now that we have visited the Old Red Lion and on each occasion the food and service have been exemplary. Highly recommended! Reasonable prices as well.
We had heard about the live music here on Wednesday afternoons and thought we'd give it a try. We were not disappointed! We had so much fun in the company of cheerful, talented musicians and also got a really warm welcome from the lovely locals too. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly
We had a wonderful meal. The food was fantastic. My wife had the rids and chicken and she said they was so beautiful and very tasty. I had the mix grill and everything was cooked perfectly. I would really recommend this welcoming pub to anyone. . Can't wait to visit Holmes chapel again.
Lovely atmosphere due to the older worldie feel of the place. Enjoyed our meals(although a minor criticism was the beef curry didn't have a lot of actual beef). Enjoyed it though.
What a nice pub great inside plenty of room to sit and eat great garden outside very nice Plenty of beers as my partner said section Plum porter beer on draught doom bar, new Zealand pale ale. Timothy Taylor landlord beer all đź‘Ť great. We had sausage and mash and scampi and chips at 9.99 each whoppi
We visited the Red Lion for dinner recently and had a good visit. It was busy so at the weekend I would recommend booking. Very reasonably priced food and drinks with good offers. The service was quite slow but they looked understaffed so not their fault. I would recommend ordering food & drink at t
Great food, polite and helpful service, would like to to see more offers, IE if you have spent ÂŁ60 plus on food, offer free coffee, plate of chips etc.
A really nice pub with a friendly atmosphere. We go here for a meal occasionally and the food is lovely and not too expensive either.
Food was good, served on time, cooked well. Drinks okay too. However, if you are going to serve kids food then PLEASE provide kids cutlery. The adult cutlery is too big for a 4 year old!
Dropped in on off chance late afternoon. Party of 6 and we all enjoyed food and drinks. Cooked to perfection. 6 empty plates
They're a brit stops host. Stayed in the carpark in our motorhome. Food was great. Very friendly. Made to feel at home.
My partner loves your gammon steak. I was very pleased to be able to change my chips and have mashed potato instead.
Lovely place. Great outdoor seating, clean, great food and drink. Land lady is super friendly and very welcoming. Free parking for customers.
Absolutely love this place, from the small course sandwiches to the main dinners, the food is tasty and well presented. The staff are very nice and accommodating. It is one of my favourite places to eat in Cheshire. Dog friendly is a bonus!
Called in on our drive home. Great food and great service. Tall lad with dark hair was very attentive, unfortunately I didn’t catch a name! All serving staff were lovely, and the live music was something special. We’d come again if it were closer to home!
