Called in after a day shopping at Cheshire oaks and Omg . So glad we did. This was our first visit and it won't be our last.from the minute we walked in to when we left had fabulous attentive service. I had fish and chips and have to day it was the nicest I have ever had in my life, I kid you not,the batter just melted in your mouth.my hubby had the Cajun chicken burger with stilton and he virtualy licked the plate clean. We didn't have room for dessert but I did have a latte which came with a chocolate brownie, nice touch guys ...had to use the powder room and what a lovely room it was too nice accessories and even a yankie candle on the go and thick paper towels for your hands. A lot of care and attention has gone into this restaurant and it did not go unnoticed. Well worth a visit. X
Excellent friendly staff. The food was amazing the ribs starter are the best I’ve ever tasted. The beef and Guiness pie 👌 veg was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning ❤️

Fantastic place!! Was diverted due to traffic on the M6 and decided to stop!! food was great, play ground for the kids, lots of space for them to run around, staff were really friendly and helpful!! Well priced!! Couldn’t have stopped anywhere better!!

What a lovely place ...... welcomed by a very large wood fire. Just what you need on a very cold Sunday afternoon. Staff very helpful and looked after us well. Food very good. Table of six and everyone happy. Nice to have live music on. Finished off the afternoon nicely 👌
Had a wonderful meal with my siblings. The portions are huge. Very good value for money. The staff are very attentive and polite. What is lovely is the fact we got to meet the Manageress Becky who spends time checking back with every customer. Great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

The staff at the fox and hounds are both friendly and attentive. I have eaten here a few times and never disappointed. The food is lovely, my personal favourite is the sweet chilli beef.

Wonderful pub with great food and outdoor seating. Good service - staff were super friendly and accommodating as we booked late but still managed to get a table. Really tasty meal.
A beautiful place and atmosphere. Food was outstanding, only gripe were I wished they had a little bit more on the menu for Vegetarian and Vegan people! Food was still wonderful. Staff were lovely and smiley, loved the live country music too.
Didn't try the food tbh honest, we were just popping in for a quick drink on our way home. The pub/restaurant was lovely. The lady behind the bar was attentive and friendly; Cleaning whenever she wasn't busy.
The other young ladies working were also very pleasant.
The outside has good facilities for children and appears to welcome dogs which is great for the area.
Would definitely pop in again if we were on the way past
Every time we visit Holmes Chapel we always pre-book a couple of nights here at our absolute favourite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what we order we are always delighted with our meal! The Matradee and Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite, the Bar manager is brilliant and ensures the beers and spirits are well served.The dining area including the washroom facility are spotless. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in The Fox and Hounds Paul and Hannah
2 starters and mains. Very pricey but always has been so no shock there. Steak and ale pie huge. Fish and chips looked amazing. We shouldn't have had a starter. Only gripe was the bun for the soup and prawn cocktail was tiny. Plenty of staff waiting on which is good.
25/6 Disappointing Sunday lunch. Very tasty but luke warm. Inside of yorkie pud was freezing. Was offered to have it taken away but we'd waited 30 mins so just ate the chicken and left. Timing/waiting on issue? Sat for too long?
First visit for a long time. Still a really nice place. Nice menu and the staff are very good. They are pleasant and helpful. The food is excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was superb and staff were so friendly.
We felt very comfortable and went home declaring that it was the best Sunday lunch we'd had for ages. Big Yorkshire pudding and edible too.

Unfortunately although it seems there is a full menu and we had booked 2 weeks prior for lunch there were only sandwiches available. We were not told this at time of booking or warned via text ect before a lunch booking. The service was good but clearly the management needs to be more customer oriented as if you can't provide what people have booked for then you need to let us know in a timely fashion not after you sit down and be told the menu is not available. None of the food list below was available. I don't know if I will return I will wait to see what the response to my experience is. Also even though I am disabled we were put on the raised platform table. Overall a reasonable experience but nothing special.

Really good service by staff who want to take care of you. I had a top quality salmon and asparagus dish - slightly over salted (when the chef and ingredients are good enough not to need that) and fantastic presentation.. Great outdoor play area for children too.

I called here for a meal. Parking no problems for all people. Entrance for all people. I was shown to a table, presented with menues. I ordered a soft drink, the staff were friendly and very quick. The food was very good, chips were home made. Will go there again. Prices were competitive.
