Me and Mum called in and found them very friendly, and our food and drink were delicious. Mum was cold, so they even put a heater on for us. Very nice atmosphere and we will be visiting again soon

Was working in the Barbers next door and went in for lunch. I had pie, mash and liquor and it was lovely. I said to the lady it gets the east-end seal of approval and she told me the pies are from Goddards pie and mash shops. They also do vegetarian pies so will be going there with the wife. Nice clean friendly and welcoming tea room.

Good value for small cooked breakfast with tea and toast avaliable throught the day. Not much to look at from the outside however pleasant if a little chilly inside. Not open on a Monday which caught me out when I fancied quick lunch.

Great place run by a lovely couple whose customer service was excellent. Really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Afternoon tea was really nice for Mothers day and at a good price I thought (£15 per head). Had some nice wall art throughout and felt really cosy. Thank you for a really nice afternoon.

Been here several times now, would highly recommend to anybody. Staff are always so pleasant and make everybody feel welcome even in the busier times. They offer a late night 3 course dinner service for only £10, after ordering the garlic mushrooms for starters then cottage pie for main and an apple crumble for dessert I can happily say the food was amazing. All was freshly cooked and all was presented very well. Didn’t have to wait long to be served, couldn’t fault the service at all. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Added bonus is all the little homeware gifts you can also purchase whilst in the cafe. Overall 10/10 and will certainly be back to visit again. Thank you staff for a lovely evening filled with great food.

Have visited the vintage tea room lots of times. Definitely the best breakfast locally. Yummy local butchers sausage and the best crusty bread, the homemade cakes and scones on the afternoon tea are amazing too. Best scones I’ve ever tried. 10/10 staff super friendly and helpful and a lovely clean atmosphere. Perfect 👌🏻

Another fantastic lunch at the vintage tea room. Always such lovely service, I ordered scampi, chips and peas with a slice of crusty bread and it was tasty and served on hot plates. Bread is delicious and fresh. I had a latte which again was a lovely coffee. My wife had the home made cottage pie served with mixed vegetables and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff always go out of there way to make us welcome even when busy. 100% recommend this little gem to friends and family.

I love The Vintage, it’s cozy, priced for everyone with a smashing menu. But, if your not quite happy, the team will go out of their way to attend to you with a 😊 😃 smile. If you need just a coffee or the special ‘toasted crusty bread’ you will find from the sausages to the bacon is of local high quality. Don’t forget, if you have a function, their on hand too. A MASSIVE FAN

This place is so lovely. They sell some beautiful unique gifts. The food is amazing, prices are really reasonable and the staff are so accomodating! The homemade cakes are just lush! For just £3 for a hot drink and huge slice of homemade cake, you can't get better than that! Firm favourite place to go now with the family.

Food was good and hot, the tea rooms looked very nice but rather chilly, very friendly, only down side was you came out smelling of food, extraction was bad, but would go again.
