The Hoghton Tower Vaio Tea Room - Hoghton - Photo album

After enjoying a tour of the historical house and time to take in the stunning views of the Lancashire countryside from the walled gardens we enjoyed afternoon tea in the cosy , informal tea rooms. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon
We simply had a pot of tea and carrot cake (lovely). Looking around we couldn't help but notice the Gorgeously, Scrumptious looking, towering cake stands, filled with delights served with the finest looking china. Not sure if you have to pre-book this but WOW! I think we shall have to do this soon.
Beautiful place hidden in the Lancashire countryside. Booked in for afternoon tea. Everything was fresh and tasty. Lovely walk round the gardens, included the afternoon tea.
Nice little coffee shop, but very quiet as there weren't many visitors to the Tower that day. Sadly, they had no sandwiches when we were there (no delivery apparently) - I'm sure they are normally fine.
Lovely staff and atmosphere. Could do with some more hot variety food. But tea and cake was lovely.
Lovely tea room, although a limited menu it was fabulous food. When we go back will definately book an afternoon tea as they looked amazing when we saw them being served.
A fascinating place. I have lived very close to Hoghton Towers for years but have never visited before. The guide (Eric) was a mine of information, and explained the hustory and key events that occurred in the history of this building. Well worth a visit.
Houghton Tower Ghost tour We had a fantastic night at the Ghost tour as well as a lovely meal, the staff and tour guides were excellent and what a amazing and historic location.
Fantastic afternoon, made to feel welcomed by all! Staff went above and beyond to celebrate friends' 40th Birthday! We will be returning đź‘Ť
Oldy-worldy simple food, and tea, to satisfy one's appetite in the most appropriate setting. Lovely stuff!
Excellent service we had afternoon tea which was lovely, they even catered for my dietary needs, staff very friendly, nothing was to much trouble for them,
Treated my Wife to afternoon tea for her birthday, and it was really nice. The staff were brilliant and looked after you.
Lovely Afternoon Tea, following our House Tour at the Wars of the Roses event.
Afternoon tea was lovely, very helpful staff and the nicest of coffees.
Great location to have afternoon tea. Unfortunately we went on a special event day so we couldn’t make
Absolutely gorgeous afternoon tea and the staff were so friendly but not over the top was a fab day. Will be doing the guided tour on my next visit it was a bit too rainy today.
Great place to relax and have a nice coffee
Good value and helps support the tower. You can eat in or take away.
