Good store in Hoddesdon.
Clean. Slightly weird layout of produce near entrance. Parking can get busy.
Handy supermarket in the heart of Hoddesdon. Big car park.
Usually well stocked and tidy with a variety of groceries, gifts, household items and seasonal products.
Also has SmartShop facilities.
Handy Argos inside. Some eBay orders can be delivered to here.
Parking at the front is more accessible than parking at the back of the store, there is fresh bread here, lots of fresh food , most grocery products here.
Sainsbury's @Hoddesdon is very busy at this time of the year, but it is managed extremely well. There is extra stuff on the shop floor and outside, in the parking lot. I was relieved to find, that there was not any sign of panic buying and that the shelves are well stocked. Still, to avoid the usual Christmas crowds, I prefer late afternoon or evening shopping.
Excellent shop now it's been updated. Starbucks lets them down though expensive. I would give the tea a wide berth
I always use Sainsbury's for fuel. They had coned off the entrance when I arrived and locking the pumps. I asked what time they shut the attendant replied 10pm. I looked at the time and it was 9.58pm. I told them there was still 2mins! They immediately reopened the entrance for me and apologised, directed me to the pumps still unlocked. Fantastic service who can blame them for wanting to leave on time?
Great place, it’s local to my girlfriend. Staff are knowledgable and well stocked.

Personally I always get Sainsburys label when shopping. I’ve tried the other big 2 supermarkets and found that what ever I get is always good.
Great verity of produce , friendly staff but lay put was a bit weird. Difficult to navigate
