Been using the captains fish & chips at Hoddesdon for a while now and ain't been disappointed at all, quality continues to be first class.
Amazing traditional fish and chips, whether it's cod, haddock, rock eel or skate, fish as been fresh and cooked to perfection, chips are as they should be crisp
We took an impromptu drive and found this delicious friendly fish and chip shop. Luckily for us they had an out of this world offer £7.00 fish and chips!!!! Delicious and freshly fried

Best fish and chips I've had for a very, very long time. Took the owner's reccomendation on what to have and it was fantastic. One haddock, one cod, one salt and pepper squid. Never knew this place existed but saw it in the Hertfordshire news having won an award for being the best so took my mum tod

Great fish n chips and the Homemade tartar sauce is amazing, we had the lunch special of cod n chips. Decent piece of fish and good chips.
This has to be the best place in the area for fish and chips for flavour and quality food. The servings aren't overly generous and it's not the cheapest but if you want to pay for proper decent fish and chips then you won't beat these guys.
Once again great lunch time meal fish and chips 1st class as always.
Filled up now, no cooking or washing up to do ready to watch football highlights.

Lovely, friendly staff who asked how the food was whilst eating. The fish and chips tasted really good. We ordered 3 lots of lunch time special fish & chips for £5 and a can of drink only cost 50p if you were buying the lunch offer. The fish tastes fresh and of good quality. I'd definitely recommend
