Best Chinese in and around Hockey by some margin. Food is cooked fresh to order and as the kitchen is open you can see this. Food is very tasty and very reasonable prices. Cash only, no credit cards but there is cash machine opposite.
I must admit I have a very limited order due to allergies, but I often find you can taste any of these takeaways by their sweet and sour chicken balls, I live 3 miles away and will happily drive to the Royal taste over the takeaway that is less than a mile away, because the quality and staff are so much better, I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Great food at a reasonable price cooked right in front of you . I travel from Rochford to Hockley for this well worth the trip.

Excellent food, reasonably price. Best to call ahead, but the wait time is usually only 10 min at most.
Best Chinese I've had to date and the staff are great. I love the fact that you can see your food being cooked from fresh.
